Chapter 24 - New Determination.

Three days went by after our duel; the entire arena was naturally turned into a commotion as a swarm of nobles gathered around me like bees gathering around honey, they were trying to deepen our relationship saying things like "As expected of her highness's Saviour will you work for me?" or "With your power we could surely increase our military prowess" naturally those people were easily taken care of by both the royal sisters who were present. Incidentally, the Hindu who was knocked out was brought to the medical room inside the royal castle. After he had regained consciousness.

He was severely punished by his noble family for using their most powerful spell, 'Phoenix wrath', apparently, it was a spell they didn't want to be shown in the opening before such a large group of spectators. The Hindu who had lost the duel which he had initiated in the first place felt great shame. "You are my rival commoner!! I'll never allow anyone to take Lady Isabella from me." He said so while being in a half-crying state.

(I sure hope our paths don't cross anytime soon)

I thought tiredly. Remembering the state of the Hindu who had tears running down his cheek while saying that the "Power of my love won't lose to anyone, especially to some punk who has no class," or something, while pointing his finger at me, was an image that was stuck inside my head for some reason. It seems he had fully accepted me as his number one rival. I sighed quietly before sitting on my bed while gazing out the window, which shows the scenery of the crescent moon hovering in the cloudless night sky.

After going through so many headaches, it's good to have some peace time for a change. However, at that moment, wind gathered around and the figure of the 'Divine beauty' appeared, her long blue dress fluttered with her graceful movement as her long waist length green hair dance with the wind blowing through the open window. The diamond armament attached to her dress glittered with the moonlight illuminating through the open window.

"May I join you?"

She asks while showing a sweet smile on her face. I gulp seeing her smile, that smile can really charm anyone who witnesses it, it was like an image taken out of a fairy tale. Noticing my unusual behaviour, Alya tilted her head curiously.

"Cough, well, it would be boring for you to stay in your spirit form, right?"

I said while showing a smile on my face. Alya then casually seated herself beside me, and I turned my gaze towards the window once again, viewing the night sky. Alya also turned her gaze towards the night sky with a small smile tug on her lips. A peaceful atmosphere drifted inside the room. We both stayed like that for some time until I noticed Alya had a tinge of redness on her cheek while she was fidgeting a little bit.

"Ah, hey, are you okay? You're not cold, are you?"

I asked, finding her behaviour quite strange. Hearing my sudden question, she flinches slightly.

"Eh, ah no... It's just I'm sitting next to Haruto while gazing at the night sky, it's only natural my maidenly heart would be stimulated, you know."

She said while blushing. Naturally, I had no comment. I honestly didn't know how to respond to such an honest mutter. I have read many books about romance back home; however, my inexperience had never had any practice in that department before. There has never been anyone who has said such things to me before. Alya was gazing at me with a somewhat seductive glint in her neatly refined eyes, and at that, I awkwardly glanced away while scratching my cheek,

"Anyway, ah, there is something I wanted to ask you, is that okay?"

I ask awkwardly while trying my best to change the topic.

"What is it?"

She asks curiously. Though there was a cute pout on her pink lips, it seemed she knew I was purposely trying to divert the topic.

"Are there any other elemental spirits like you?"

I ask while tilting my head.

"Naturally, besides me, there are three others who are high-ranked spirits."

She answered in her usual carefree voice. While shrugging her shoulders.

"I see, they must also be trying to form a pact with other individuals, too, right?"

I ask while sending her a glance. However, a look of indifference formed on her face.

"I honestly couldn't care less what the others are doing. I only care about Haruto, who is my partner right now. I'm sure the others feel the same way."

She said without showing any particular emotion on her face. Looking at her face, it seems she truly didn't care. Aren't the spirits considered family for them to have no interest in the other lives, no matter how bad their relationships are? I wondered while frowning a bit.

"We do consider each other as family, but we don't wish for others to interfere with what we do. I'm sure you wouldn't want anyone to interfere with your own personal life, right?"

She asks while tilting her head to the side. I guess she can easily see through whatever I'm thinking about.

"Well, I guess you do have a point."

I said, sighing. Well, as long as they get along, I guess it should be fine.

"In any case, there is another matter I wish to know, it's the most important is it okay to ask?"

I ask while making a serious face. Seeing my expression, she naturally straightens her posture while straightening her dress, which was slightly dishevelled by her seating position. She then nodded her head slowly, signalling me to speak.

"You said you have been watching over me since the very beginning, so can I assume you know why I was summoned into this world?"

I ask while showing an inquisitive gaze towards Alya. Hearing my question, she didn't seem too surprised; it was as though she expected such a question to be directed towards her. She naturally placed her hands at her mouth, clearing her throat before speaking.

"Well, to be honest, I don't think you were brought here through the regular method of summoning a human from another world, but rather you were sent here through the small cracks in the dimensional space."

Alya said, giving her postulation while making a face a dubious face. I see, so instead of being summoned by an individual, I was instead thrown through the small cracks in the dimensions, huh... does that mean anyone could have been summoned at that time? But if that was the case, why do I have so much mana? Is it because I'm from another world?

"What I tell you is just my theory, as the dimensions are extremely unstable. I didn't sense any spatial magic being used when you were summoned, so it seems likely you were thrown through the gaps in the dimensional space."

She said while bringing her hands underneath her chin with a hum.

"I see, I think I understand now. However, is there a way back home?"

I ask while making a face that showed desperateness mix with a bit of hopefulness. Seeing that Alya sighed quietly before saying the harsh truth, she took a deep breath before opening up her mouth, seeing how hesitant she was, a bad premonition filled my head. "It can't be." I wanted to say, but before I could.

"Unfortunately, that seems impossible right now. Spatial magic is the most difficult magic to use in the current era."

She said, making an apologetic face. *Crack*, hearing that, I think something just broke all hope, all expectation was all nothing but a wild delusion, it's no use, no matter the effort, it seems I'll never be able to return home. Knowing that fact, my shoulder was lump down while I held my head in disappointment. Alya was gazing at me with a gloomy expression before heaving a sigh.

"What's so wrong about living out the rest of your life in this world? Wouldn't you be able to live a more fulfilling life in this world?"

She muttered while patting my shoulder. I couldn't help but become a little upset by her sudden words; however, I had no strength to be angry right now. Thinking about it calmly, I could definitely make a living in this world by becoming a knight or an adventurer; however, the current me held no such desire.

There was also a lot of unfinished business back home for me to do. If you were to ask me which world I would like to stay in, surely it would be my original home that won't change, no matter how much I come to like this world. There is a saying, 'Home is the starting place of hopes and dreams' Naturally, I'll find my way back even if it takes a miracle to do it. I'll even distort time and space if I have to.

"Fufufu.... think you can separate me from my home, huh? Even if the gods pull me away, I'll find my way back home."

I muttered while chuckling to myself. Hearing my mutter while watching me laugh so suddenly, Alya instinctively flinched with her eyes open wide.

"Ah, I can see you got your motivation back, but how come?"

She asks curiously while tilting her head. It seems she thinks my spirit would be completely broken when hearing that I couldn't go back home, so she was genuinely surprised seeing my sudden burst of confidence. Hearing her question, my lips naturally turned into a fearless grin.

"Well, let's just say I'm prepared to do the impossible if that's what it takes to go back home."

I said with a small smile.

"Seeing that fearless face of yours gets me all tingly. I'm falling in love all over again... as your partner, naturally, I'll help you out with whatever I can."

Alya said with a sweet smile while hugging herself with her hands, making the expression of a maiden in love. After a while, she then folds her hands into a fist. It seems a fire was also lit inside her due to my sudden motivation.

"But wasn't there anyone who could naturally travel between worlds?"

I asked, tilting my head.

"Yes, there was one such person... however, he disappeared many years ago."

She said while showing a slight gloominess in her eyes. Seeing that I knew that 'person' must have been a special existence to her.

"I see, is it okay to ask who that 'person' is?"

I ask while turning my gaze towards her. Receiving my gaze, she also turned her head and gazed back without faltering.

"He is the creator of most of the known worlds, or rather, he is the creator of all of existence. That is the God of Creation."

Alya muttered quietly under her breath.

(A god of creation, huh... he must have been a great guy to have created the entire world. Though there are a lot of religions of a god creating the world)

I thought even in another world, such a person existed, huh.

"What became of him?"

I asked, keeping my gaze turned towards Alya, who was seated beside me. Hearing my question, she sighed once before answering.

"His body suddenly vanished before it did. He was the one keeping the dimension stable, but now, without its foundation being present anymore, naturally, dimensions are starting to crumble, causing the worlds to overlap."

She said while keeping her head down. Ah, so that's what's happening. If that's the case, it wouldn't be a surprise if someone else besides me gets suddenly summoned here.

"It seems things are more complicated than I thought."

I said tiredly while stretching my hands. With that, I slowly got up from the bed.

"Ah, what are you doing?"

Alya asked while also getting up from the bed.

"What do you think? I'm going to bed. Let's leave the rest of the discussion until tomorrow. Staying up late is poisonous to the body, you know."

I said while lying down on my bed, letting the softness of the bed mattress carry my weight. I still needed time to process the information I had just received, and I also needed time to cool my head and think about what it is I'm going to do from here. I personally wanted to go out and find methods of travelling through dimensions, but it seems it's going to be more difficult than I thought. Going through dimensions is a way of traveling no human could ever hope to accomplish. Such things can only be achieved in children's fairy tales, but I am in a fantasy world right now, right? So naturally, I'll do whatever it takes. Alya stared at me for a few seconds before she grinned happily while showing a bewitching smile. There was a seductive glint in her eyes, but it might be my imagination.

"Oi, oi, what are you doing?"

I shouted while slowly covering my bed. I quickly grabbed a pillow and threw it with great speed at Alya, who was slowly approaching from the other side of the bed. However, with quick reaction time, she naturally held out her slender hand with graceful movements and a gust of wind was formed, creating a small vortex before her palm, which easily stopped the force of the pillow, killing its momentum, and she easily caught it.

"Eh, what does it look like I'm doing? I'm also going to sleep, weren't you the one who said, 'staying up late is poisonous to the body', no?"

She said, hugging the pillow she had just caught while slowly getting into bed.

"N-no, I did say that yes, but, yo-you know an unmarried man and woman can't be seen sleeping on the same bed."

I said with a face as red as a tomato. Seeing my face, Alya started chuckling to herself while bringing her curvaceous body closer. At that, a sweet scent tickled my nose.

"Ufufufu... this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, you know, shouldn't you make the most of it?"

She said with a gleeful face that was slowly becoming red. The atmosphere around her became slightly intense, no, it was slightly intimidating.

"N-no way, I'll protect my chastity even if it's from a divine beauty."

I said while slowly backing away.

"A divine beauty, huh... my, my I didn't know you saw me that way."

"As your partner, I'm willing to serve you in any way you like, you know."

She said with a delighted face, which was slightly mixed with crimson. While crawling on all four, small strands of her long green hair flowed down her shoulders.

"Wait a sec, serve wh-what does that mean? N-no, don't come any closer."

Naturally, the entire room, which was located near my room, could hear my screaming voice resounding.
