"You said you came here because of Queen Aurora's death?"
Queen Floraia's voice was soft and melodic, yet laced with unmistakable anxiety.
As she spoke, she gently stroked a palm-sized bee resting in her hand.
The fuzzy little creature was pink from head to toe, with oversized eyes that bulged adorably from its face. It was an unusual gift from Princess Elena, but the Queen of Spring seemed absolutely delighted with it.
The tiny bee let out a cheerful buzz as it nestled comfortably against her fingers.
"I'll be honest with you, Your Majesty," Elena began. "Queen Aurora's body... disappeared from her tomb."
The queen froze.
"...Disappeared?"
She blinked several times before tilting her head in confusion.
"But..."
Her delicate wings fluttered uneasily.
"Wasn't it your kingdom's responsibility to guard her resting place?"
Elena hesitated.
She instinctively glanced toward Ren before answering.
"We've come to believe that the body inside the tomb wasn't Queen Aurora's."
