(Staying over for the night & nightmares.)

"W-Wolverine, w-what a coincidence." She stuttered out.

'Cute' Logan Howlett thought.

-Author's Point of view-: Now.

"Um...What are you doing here in the middle of the forest?"

Sasha asked nervously, straightening up as Wolverine leaned against the tree beside me. "Well, since you asked nicely," he began, "I guess I could ask you a question. Do you know what a HULK is?"

Sasha hesitated, blinking in response to his question. Her uncertainty made her worry about whether she should answer, but she eventually nodded and crossed her arms over her chest. "Yes, I do."

Sighed Sasha, who also leaned to the outside wall of her cabin while closing her eyes and then opened them, now glancing at Wolverine and telling him:

"The Hulk isn't an 'it', his name is Bruce Banner. He works for the Avengers & has been experimented on himself when my older sister's boss decided to test the green Magna on him."

With a little pause, I crossed my arms with my eyes closed as I began recalling the story my sister told me and continued, "And for your information, sir. Bruce Banner is a renowned scientist, who uses his work as a playground, in a good way, he's lab partners with my older sister, Betty Ross. Yet, when exposed to high levels of gamma radiation instead of vita-radiation went awry, the mild-mannered scientist had found that when angered, provoked, or excited, he would transform into the huge, rage-fueled, nearly mindless creature known as Hulk."

"...So, you know what I'm going against, right?"

"You could say that." She bluntly told Wolverine, still leaning against the tree but, listening to her intentively the info about the Hulk, becoming useful to him: "Fearful of the damage that Hulk could inflict as well as fleeing from the government, at that time, Banner attempted to kill himself; When the attempt failed, he chose to live a discreet life while also communicating with to cure himself."

"However, when General Ross had sent a team led to apprehend Banner, he was then forced to return to where he recruited the help of my sister (Betty) & Sterns to cure him of his affliction. Banner was apprehended by the Armed Forces shortly after, but Blonsky, who had received a variant of the Super Soldier Serum, was administered Banner's gamma-irradiated blood."

"Transforming him into the Abomination and forcing Ross to allow Banner to turn into Hulk and battle him before then allowing Hulk to escape. Bruce Banner is shown as a mild-mannered, mysterious, shy, and analytical man of science."

She finished telling the origins of her sister's boyfriend to Wolverine. Massaging the bridge of his nose when later groans at the explanation after listening intensively to the unanswered question he questioned why the government called him for the job, along with why he's needed.

Fortunately, Sasha's words sparked his curiosity at that moment, but Wolverine, or Logan, could sense her unease about discussing the Hulk. He raised an eyebrow and took a moment to process why they were venturing into all this chaos. He understood the wonder she felt about her thoughts.

There was no way he could dodge the question without raising her suspicion.

"You care for the Hulk, don't you, bub?" he stated firmly.

Her grip on her arm tightened, her nails digging in deeper, causing it to bleed. She met his gaze, and he could see the complexity of emotions on her face. He was equally intrigued by what was swirling through his own mind.

She chuckled, the tension hanging thick in the air.

"I wouldn't say care for the guy," she gently smiles at herself, glancing away from his words, Sasha realizes that she should try to communicate with other people more often since Wolverine/Logan is only & the first person to walk past her cabin: "Despite from doing it... I'm only helping him because of my older sister, who she really cares & loves dearly is Also trying to look for Bruce for the past few...Idk, maybe 2 in a half years searching for him, I guess."

Paused at the moment, then suddenly her puzzle came into place in her mind,' Omg, this superhero is driving me insane. I was supposed to keep it confidential between my sister & me but, all of a sudden I can sense him feeling curious about it in a matter of seconds.'

"So, Logan?" she continues, "Aren't you going to say, 'thanks for all your help' crap?"

He remained silent for a moment but eventually replied, "No, that's just from the movies. Why do you live here alone anyway?" Wolverine changed the subject, staring at her and growling under his breath, "Damn."

Only that single word escaped his lips, catching her off guard.

He didn't care, as he had no intention of explaining why he was keeping Sasha at a distance. Addressing her, he said, "Sweetheart," replacing the nickname "bub" and turning his gaze away from the cabin where she leaned: "You should... mind your own business. If you don't mind, I have somewhere else to b-."

His lazy tone was abruptly interrupted by Sasha, who thought, 'Dammit, don't let him get hurt first!' She quickly stopped him before he could walk away from her cabin. "WAIT! Let me come downstairs for a minute!"

At that, he paused and raised an eyebrow, glancing over his right shoulder to see her running down the stairs of her cabin, barefoot and unbothered by the cold snowy ground.

She had grown accustomed to the chill after three years away from the city and her older sister. Fortunately, her sister had agreed to Sasha's terms, prioritizing their safety from the dangers that lurked beyond the globe.

[Anyways, let's continue the story]

However, Logan mumbled a curse word like 'shit', in the process by now responding with a smirk on his face:

"Listen, you aren't like any other human I've ever met for many years. For someone like you, who lives here alone really kinda suspicious y'know...." He paused for a moment, "Are you waiting for someone, bub?~" He teased her.

Sasha's cheeks turned warmer when he called her 'bub' or 'sweetheart', which almost made her knees buckle in front of him, fortunately, it didn't happen because she is leaning against the wall.

On the other hand, Sasha pretends to cough to reply to him, "Ahem, W-well I live in the forest so it's my private space from other people outside, I don't even use a cellphone in the matter...For your answer, No I'm not waiting for anyone in particular. Aside from you, that is."

Inside Sasha Ross's thoughts began cursing herself that she's denying about liking him but not particularly good at this kind of love stuff but she is beginning to experience new things right now so, onto the story: 'If he goes right now, then he won't survive without sleep for his mission since it was already getting pretty dark tonight'.

And so on, she unexpectedly takes his hand, looks at him straight in the eyes, blushing at her action almost feeling regret about herself for holding onto his hand from leaving, preparing something Logan would never expect her to do.

Not understanding why her body was moving on its own, Sasha averted her gaze away from Logan and took a low breath with hope along with full courage to ask/offer him something in gratitude for getting her out of the rumble from earlier by saying:

"Do you...want to stay here for the night? Besides it's getting pretty dark, you-u should probably rest, Logan." Stuttering at the end of her voice, her heart desired to scream for dear life on earth for stuttering like a b*tch would do for a hot man like Logan.

With a bit of hesitation, Logan's cheeks went a little hint of pink on her offer, along the part that she stuttered like that, he took off his mask, revealing his face from this afternoon, and sighed in agreement to stay for just one night.

"One night, that's it?" He replied in confusion.

Sasha smiled with a nod and escorted him to her cabin.

I-Inside the cabin-I

Sliding the door open to enter her cabin, Sasha and Logan took off their snow-covered boots before walking toward the fireplace. Once inside, they placed the boots near the side of it, as Logan watched her every move, he noticed her taking off her jacket and tossing it onto a kitchen counter.

He couldn't quite understand why he had agreed to come here in the first place, but there was something about the cabin that felt oddly comforting. He thought to himself, 'Why does she always look so damn hot?' Then he realized, 'Great, now I sound horny.'

Gazing at Logan's back without him knowing, Sasha felt her mind, soul, and body go completely blank.

Unexpectedly, she bit her lower lip, almost wanting more of him.

His reflexes are showing off his body to look hotter than she realized, it's just something no one can't disagree with:

'Because it's the first time I have my eyes on a certain mutant/hero in front of my eyes! One day, I will have to tell him that I'm a virgin. Okay no! NOT GONNA to HAPPEN, I'm NOT GOING TO TELL WITH A STRAIGHTFORWARD FACE AND SAY " Logan, guess what? I'm a virgin & I don't like being horny around" UGH! My thoughts are giving me a headache.'

Her eyes loomed over to admire his body once again until it was cut short when he caught her and smirked:

"Like what you see, sweetheart?~" He flirted.

Snapping back into reality, Sasha made a 'hmph' sound and crossed her arms: "NOTHING is going to make me see you like that, darling.~" She mocked him at the last part, he chuckled at this when she spun away from Logan; Wishing that she shouldn't have mocked him like that, rolls her eyes as Sasha started to sneeze out of nowhere.

Kept her thoughts to herself since she stopped daydreaming about his muscular body, getting caught by Logan Howlett, who flirted her when she got annoyed a bit which includes her going straight towards the kitchen with a low growl; Logan, on the other hand, chuckled since he started to consider her homestyle a very warm welcome.

Except for the items such as rifles, guns, etc, as it made him stiffen a bit at the weapons kept in glass frames, his eyes then landed on the next shelf to the left.

He froze when he spotted one of the shelves, which was pictures of her family, graduation, as a baby, and so on until one particular picture caught his interest was one of a 4-year-old-Sasha & another older sister, who's around 6 years old appearing to be her older sister.

Hugging each other while the background showed her parents smiling in happiness at the swimming party. Easily, Logan lifted the picture carefully not to break it and took a good look at it, suddenly he sniffed the same scent of vanilla from earlier again, and this time, he sensed her vanilla scent had a hint of cinnamon with the awkward feeling for inviting him.

Come to think of Logan, he hasn't felt so awkward with a woman like Sasha in his entire life.

Shrugs it off almost wanting it as normal but, somehow it wasn't normal like one of his last lovers for the past years he had met, loved, and slept with. Only this time, it gained him different ways of emotions & feelings for Sasha, he can't flirt just be around her and have an actual conversation with her; When they first met, Logan had acted tough on the outside but showed his soft side to Sasha the minute he saved her from staying under the rumble of cement blocks on top of her.

The old couple had found, met, and gotten killed for being close to him nevertheless, it's been nearly 2 or more years back after he had gotten the vibranium claws, and memories erased, and moved back to working for X-men at the 'School for gifted youngsters' by Charles Xavier's team. Not only once has he been hurt, bad luck always happens as many times nonetheless; Which will always haunt him for all eternity.

Nowadays, Logan still has whatever it takes to protect the lives of many mutants, including humans like Sasha; Who he found someone to be thankful for since she's considered the opposite of humans.

Furthermore, what he used to believe in was all behind him; Or so he thought. When Logan first saved Sasha's life from the crumble of bricks that had fallen onto her earlier, he thought humans would have died in that kind of explosion though, simply because the military signifies that she is considered to be the lucky one to witness the beginning of the explosion in ElkFord Town.

Apparently, in his point of view, she was different from all the ladies he's been in relationships with. Opposite from most of his immortal years, and moments in wishes to not let people trust in him or anyone as a matter of statement to (almost) get hurt easily when people he cares about, die at the end of the story.

Anyways, wandering around the living room, he detected a picture that had been gripping it already onto it for a while and spoke in his thoughts: 'Adorable. No wonder she was happy with her normal family. Lucky she isn't like the metahumans.'

Sighing quietly in sadness, Logan notices a frame of a picture, hanging in front of him and starts caressing its features in awe, 'A dreamcatcher? Does she believe in those things? Never mind.' he thought, raising an eyebrow at the beautiful white feathers, only two were there, some almost covered in red beads & blackberries around.

From the looks of it, Logan figured out while he remembered one of his past lives in some wars that people in Canada for protection or good luck:

"Oh, you're the first person to ever be invited for a sleepover." Sasha smiles, "Just to let know beforehand."

Her voice echoed as Logan nodded at her, but what he heard caused him to turn around with a shocked expression on his face. Not knowing how to respond, he seemed almost relieved. "So, I'm the first guest. Does that make me special?"

Logan teased once more that she suddenly blurted a small 'Yes' to him, causing him to flinch in shock but relaxed with a victory grin at her and stammered:

"N-no! Nononono, t-that's-s n-not what I mean, I-I Argh! I can't f*cking believe you trick me into saying it!"

Laughter echoed In the cabin, Logan kept on laughing while Sasha tried to deny what happened, but it's already too late. Eventually, Logan calms down, wearing a smirk of victory as he chuckles. Sasha pouts at him in denial, resembling a 5-year-old reacting to jokes about themselves.

Back to the storyline, Sasha groans and curses: "F*ck you, James."

Gesturing him the middle finger to stop his flirting attempts at her, to his surprise, Logan's eyes widened in surprise when she called him by his real name; None of his lovers called him by his real name except his half-brother, Victor Creed/ Sabertooth & Charles Xavier.

Sasha notices Logan's expression and quickly tries to apologize but before she can say anything, "Don't worry, Sasha...No need to apologize about it." He shrugs it off when he realizes that she also laughed as well; Just realizing the first person to ever stay here for a sleepover is making her laugh for the first time.

Forming his curved lips into a soft smile and softening his gaze, he returns in hopes to search for her in the kitchen and ask her a question about the picture in his hand; Before he could say anything, finding her in the kitchen from afar, his mind froze along with his body.

Watching her bend over by taking out 2 bottles of beer from the fridge, made him whistle at the beautiful sight since he's enjoying it; And, on top of that, not on purpose for Logan to do something that might catch her attention, her brown eyes lingered in a perplexing way of distracted after getting hit in the forehead by the fridge.

From out of the blue, Sasha Ross rubs her head in circles and hisses: "Ow! What the f*ck, Logan!" She exclaims, which by the way, & surprisingly laughs at her reaction; Snapping her head around to give a death glare when she sees him laughing like this.

Before somehow, realizes how he looks better smiling than his grunts and frowns all the time; A few seconds ago, she was about to bring two but instead, she placed 4 bottles of beer on the kitchen table.

Sasha stares in amazement to make a guest laugh over a small thing: 'He looks handsome. Not gonna lie, it's nice to have some company.' She began to relax when she saw him smiling. Her thoughts got short when a familiar voice spoke: "Is this your sister you mentioned earlier?"

Logan questions while holding a picture frame of her & her family with big happy smiles, blinks two times, and manages to use her relaxed smile while turning over her left shoulder as she responds:

"Hm? Oh..yeah," Sasha continues with a calm voice, "She sends me letters, pictures of places she has traveled for research for SHIELD Cases & STARK Industries; including her lab at the Avengers Tower. The last time I saw her was our college graduation & our parent's funeral, that's it."

"Sorry, for your loss." He said but then asked: "Why don't you write to her? Does she know your reasons for not writing back?"

Logan looked at her with concern as he noticed her standing frozen in place. He could see that she was hesitant and trying to avoid revealing her reasons. Meanwhile, Sasha let out a slow sigh and rubbed the bridge of her nose with her index finger.

After a moment, she decided to tell him the truth. It was the first time she had brought someone to her cabin, and she already trusted him with her life.

"Logan Howlett..." she spoke seriously while she continues to explain, "There is one personal reason I do not wish to say but, you are my first guest which means your lucky since I never told anyone about it until right now."

"*sigh* Last time, I wrote a letter to her was that I wanted to ask a question about her life/job, Betty told me through the letter that she was nervous, scared, and terrified about the rumors roaming on about from HYDRA's secret society is up to no good along with her saying she couldn't risk losing because I am their next target to kidnap & turn into there lab-rats."

"There are so many people that I'm not fond to trust easily unless there is a reason, Betty was one I can fully trust with my life and, she just warn she wrote to me every day. But I'm not willing or never going to write to her because of it."

Sighed while she took a sip of her beer and stared into the half-empty beer bottle in her hand, almost as if she entered her deep thoughts: "Many devils out there who are willingly going to want me or my sister to become their experimental pets and get information about S.H.I.E.L.D."

Clutching her hands into fists, the shaken breath she finally let out as she spoke while staring down at her hands: "I-I c-can't let anything happen to us, not be a weakness to anyone unless it's an emergency. I am the guilty party to be hurt or hunted by the evil people who want to experiment on normal people like us humans because of...bc of-Argh! I don't even know what I am anymore!"

Sasha shook her head furiously before she calmly took a deep breath and continued on, "Well, there you have it why I don't socialize with anyone or even write a f*cking letter about my older sister bc of the dangers that are keeping me apart from her...I hate being different."

This, causes Sasha Ross's emotions to tear up in tears, and makes her feel shaken when she slowly begins opening up a bit for him to understand why she's this anti-social to others and is a hard person to read; He admires her words but how she's reacting, made him feel bad for her that he ask himself.

How could she allow him to open up? and, since her guilt rises when calling him by his real name while explaining her reasons. Barring the guilt within her mind, Logan knows how she's feeling about protecting the people closest to her is harder than hiding in the dark.

But even so, Sasha has a mind of her own swiftly bites her tongue, and walks over to him from where he stood by closing the gap between their bodies; Once they're physically connected, she comes up to his face, placing a hand on his face.

Almost inches away from his lips.

Their bodies were pressed like glue, their eyes made contact with each other, and their breaths stopped at the position while she breathed heavily in front of Logan; Who stared at her like a predator that ached to eat her alive with their breaths inches apart from each other.

Somehow, it was his turn to move closer to her, closing in together arms slowly wrapped around her waist while the entire space around her was quiet.

"Logan...I-"

"Sasha...don't even think being different is wrong, you are...are beautiful when you are right in front of me-" Logan breathed, though he stayed in place for her to continue what he going to do now, pausing his words from talking; But to no avail, and unexpectedly, she unwraps her arms away from his neck and stands a bit far from him.

Instead, she withdrew away from going any further; Scoffed her way to one of the cupboards to take out some items for dinner, and coughed:

"I'll heat something," Sasha paused before heading to the refrigerator, turning around to look at him, bit her lip and continued: "In the meantime, you can take a shower..." She stops for a moment before closing the cupboards, she lets out a tired sigh, returns to him, and went towards the towel closet that's around the corner of the bathroom.

He coughed away his nervousness by throwing his suit away, thereby, to not suspect him feeling awkward again; Sasha then began pinching her nose with a funny voice, "You stink."

Despite Sasha's funny comment just now, Logan rolled his eyes and extended out to tease him the same way he did earlier in the forest; Starts to smell under his armpits to see if Sasha was right or not, to his surprise and disgust, it turns out that she was right.

He grumbles at her when a spare black towel has been thrown at his face, and finally, it concluded: "Good point, bub." he continues, "Next time I come here, I hope I don't get a shotgun behind my a**."

Finally closes the bathroom door, Sasha, in the end, laughs once more at his reaction from earlier and begins heating some Chinese noodles for dinner.

Time skip~

After Logan had taken a good shower, he started to inspect the bathroom a bit until he saw his reflection in the mirror, sighing a bit to himself he started to see a flashback about Sasha's words reminds him of when he first became an experiment his past, his ex-lovers from before, the X-Men team, and heck! he even misses the dickhead Cyclops.

Sasha couldn't stop thinking about his body since she told him to take a while heating some Chinese take-out, Logan had already begun sniffing out the place one more time before turning back to see Sasha's face of embarrassment and smirking:

"Like what you see~." He spoke in a teasing manner, standing still naked in front of her, and saw her face turning beat redder than a red "G-got o-one of your c-clothes from the grey duffle bag, See YA! O///O."

She widened her eyes at the sight before her, she could feel her face turning crimson, closing the door shut in his face; After seeing a total naked Logan without any towels or clothes on in the matter, Sasha has never felt so embarrassed in her life.

That is until her thoughts were snapped when a teasing chuckle came inside the bathroom as her flushed face was already fifty shades of red. Not daring to gaze up at him from handing Logan's grey duffel bag, he reaches out and nods by thanking her, "Thank you."

'Omg, why did I nearly get so close to him, I was about to kiss right on that spot earlier although, I'm glad I haven't done anything like that, AND now, I just witness him naked in front of ME! Nvm, I'm just going to ignore it and not think about it...Or so I thought. UGH, THIS IS MY HORMONES I hate so much!'

I retorted my thoughts in a stuttering manner and decided to eat again. "Bub, can I ask a question?"

"Hm? Sure go ahead." She replied, continues eating her noodles. He pauses for a moment, then regains his thoughts that his suit is hanging by the fireplace like it was a Christmas stocking getting ready for Santa to come in.

The grey duffle bag of his was not near him so he began to search through the entire bag by saying inside his thoughts: 'Wait what did she do with my suit & my stuff? I better ask her about it later.' Logan grunted but began to think about his suit, so he waited for the right time to ask her, and so on, he did ask, "Hey, bub. Logan continues, "When I check my duffle bag it didn't have any of my spare clothes, did you do something to them?"

"Yeah?" He wondered in question for her to answer, her brown eyes also held in the wonder of his question and she smiled: "Oh? Well... you were s-showering, so... I took the opportunity to wash it in hand along with your spare clothes & underwear. All of them stink so, that's it."

Chewing her noodles into her mouth, not appreciating the fact she had to explain to Logan about chores are responsibilities even if it means not getting in a bad mood; Rolled his eyes, in the process he kept on eating until he eyed her lips for only a mere 5 seconds, leading her actions to come to an end then, came back into his senses.

'By the looks of her personality, she doesn't seem to be a bad person. Still, when she tried to glare at me only when I teased about her a** showing off (still wearing pants) and made her laugh. Damn, her laugh is music to my ears. Woah, okay bub, calm down this is just one night no distractions...And yet, I stopped when her face began closing in. I almost thought I would've kissed her first but, turns out she's hesitated and backed away. Why did I back away anyway? Argh, this is too much thinking than Deadpool's mouth-talking bulls*t. Even so, I wish I can kiss those damn soft lips of hers.'

Resuming eating his noodles with the chopsticks that Sasha had lent him earlier, he tried his best not to be intimate about Sasha's actions. Speaking of her, Sasha somehow sensed him in deep thinking and chose to make another conversation with Logan since it has always been quiet in the cabin:

"What is a superhero/mutant like you, doing in a town like this?"

She asked in a curious sarcastic way, which made him stiff and still like a statue until Logan slowly placed his chopsticks on the table, settling himself to be a comfortable position by staring into her brown eyes.

Sighing deeply at her question that was still hanging in the air and finally answered her question, "I came here to find out about the monster called the HULK, find some information thanks to you obviously, &... he pauses for a minute before saying, "also being paid to kill it if it was necessarily out of control."

"'Necessarily out of control?' " she mocked him: "You act as if you have a hard time trusting people. For instance, you don't trust me. Just yourself, right?"

"You're right about that one, bub. Except..." he cleared his throat a bit, "You're an exception of me trusting you." He grabs another bottle of beer that has been across from the table, takes a drink of it, and places it back on the table.

The words Logan had just said a second ago made her stunned but returned to watching him a bit, somehow Sasha also trusted him without any discomfort.

A slight grunt escapes his lips, looking up at Sasha's brown eyes before realizing that she seemed concerned about something, "Why do you trust me?..." she continues, "I'm no one to you or to anyone in this place, still I got curious as to why you needed information when the government could've given you some for your mission, But...nothing can't be helped, huh?"

Logan grows silent but grunts either way, in response to not wanting to talk about his reasons for not knowing how to explain to Sasha why he trusts her....yet, he finds her like a good companion to talk to and: "hm."

"Happens if I join your game? Do you get paid as well? If I was your partner-in-crime stuff I mean."

A fist slams onto the kitchen table, making Sasha flinch at his reaction and composes herself quietly without widening her eyes at him, glares at her before he can explain; Logan, on the other hand, maybe a hardshell & and arrogant man to deal with but, when it comes to illegal subjects about someone's job or anything involving the government's secrets things gets out of hand, she would be taken.

"Listen to me, Sasha." he continues, "What I work or do, isn't very nice. But again, Listen carefully & I'll advise you, don't work for the government or anyone, they can trick with lies & manipulate you all they like; Yeah it's like a promise but still, don't. Ever. Let their words fool you, okay?"

Once they were done eating their Chinese take-out, Sasha sat stunned by his words of advice by the change in his voice, while still going in deep thought of the subject for his sake, so he won't be pushed further into anything just like she does with everyone and Logan, to her...

He is also different from her, which includes her abilities to be the same as his; But with different pasts, Logan has a terrible past, while she had a safe & happy childhood, making their differences impossible to read.

As an expert of knowing his reaction bit by bit, Sasha Ross understood the possibilities of him getting in danger again because she has witnessed the Hulk's behavior from time to time since her sister's letters came into view; Without telling her whereabouts to Betty, she decided to help herself into this matter and call her tomorrow morning about it.

Stood up from her seat, Sasha was in deep thought that she couldn't help but mentally look for it even deeper, began cleaning the dishes and drying them in awkward silence; Which for them, is quiet.

Of course, Sasha started helping Logan with covering the long soft couch with black comforters and added some pillows in the process, "Good night, 'bub'." She mocked afterward, heading up the ladders as she climbed when it began to lead it to her room.

A loud grunt came from downstairs, Logan was the one to grunt in response to her good night statement, and she plopped herself onto her bed; Closing her eyes and covering with a blanket she went fast asleep.

Hours later, midnight...[click the video]

The moon was full tonight while it made a reflection within the glass windows, the fireplace was burning as it crackles the wood into pieces and turns into ashes that Sasha Ross couldn't stop turning, twisting, and moving around in her sleep that it ended up here dreaming about the man.

A mysterious figure suddenly appeared in Elkford, claiming to be another superhero from Winchester, New York. This raised suspicions in her mind, especially since her sister lived in that town. It made her question whether there were more heroes than she had previously thought.

Despite the intrigue, she had no intention of moving out of her cabin for Logan; having him sleep over was more than enough for her. His words from dinner kept echoing in her mind, as relentless as a train going in circles.

Nevertheless, Sasha had begun obtaining enough money a few years ago, not knowing what to do with it, normally people would spend their money on things they want but she...Was different, then the rest because when they both met.

Difficult at first, soon they came to understand one another, because of that Sasha has felt happy about having some company since her abilities came to the light as a young child; Always wanted to remain silent about it, never learning to use it and couldn't risk anyone she's close to.

Annoyed by herself, she went to grab a glass of water from the kitchen; Before she could go back up the ladder quietly, Sasha spotted Logan's sleepy form in peace until he suddenly began twisting and turning himself around in his sleep.

He starts mumbling a name that she got so worried for him and walks closer to him, but then her hearing got sharpened as he continues saying:

"No...Jean...I'm sorry...hn."

While mumbling in his sleep, Sasha slowly panics as she walks closer and closer to him with his eyes closed, beads of sweat had already gotten the pillows wet from Logan; His new description in his sleepy face is turning paler by the minute, and was gripping the sofa by squeezing it so tight that he can choke the living hell out of you:

'I think he's dreaming about someone, hmm...? Maybe I should see if he's alright though. but who's Jean?'

The minute Sasha put her hand on his forehead, in fear of his pale face in which made her anxious to know what would be causing this man's fear to become a nightmare. All of a sudden, without any warning the man's audibly scream came from none other than Logan:

 "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!?!?!"

Widening her eyes in despair of sadness for the first time in her life since she got scared of her abilities and always claimed to not be afraid of anything until now, Sasha requires to be in need to save him from the nightmare he's having right now; The minute she got to his side, she shakes with full-strength almost forcing him to stay there permanently as his nightmare started to worsen even more.

'If he keeps doing like this, I have to calm him down before he going starts tearing the entire sofa.'

Suddenly, something sharp had pierced into her abdomen, Sasha glanced down as she winced at the pain but and saw it was his claws; Wolverine's claws have already stabbed but opened his eyes to see only a bloodstain from the woman in front of him.

It was Sasha.

Her eyes widened in shock as fear crawled over his face and watch the blood getting darker over her pajamas by the minute when she was about to say something the pain was making her hiss: "Are you alright? I didn't hurt you, didn't I?"

She tuned out a sec, with her thoughts staring at him: 'Logan must be very scared about me getting stabbed, I might as well explain my origins correctly.' "Who's Jean?" She asked by giving him a questionable look, making this conversation more uncomfortable for both Logan and Sasha but it took a moment for him to hesitantly answer her question: "She was uh...someone I loved before until..."

"Until what, Logan?" She spoke quietly, shifting comfortably on the couch that Logan shook it off with, "Never mind..." There was a moment of silence in the cabin, Sasha broke the silence with a small cough and suddenly decided that it was time to tell him:

"Would it be weird if I told you something weird about me?" "Sure," Logan replied. She took a deep sigh and sat down next to him by hugging a pillow into her chest, "Do you remember when I asked you what is a mutant?"

He nodded, looking at her strangely at her sudden question from earlier by looking up to down, but he widened his eyes in shock when he saw her injuries healing up, it made him terrified of the fact that Sasha had the same powers as him.

Grabbing both her shoulders (hard), almost wanting to crush her bones to death by staring intensely in shock & bewildered at his now-hard glare dark brown eyes into her brown orbs, she almost winced and flinched at his bare hands also feeling her heartbeat thumping like it was about to explode out of her chest.

Blinking in shock, Sasha felt a moment of fear for Logan as his hard glare softened. He let go of her and turned away, saying, "I'm sorry for snapping like that." Logan closed his eyes and reopened them, only to find Sasha hugging him unexpectedly.

She shook her head and said, "It's alright, Logan."

Placing her hand gently on top of his, she rubbed his knuckles with her thumb and continued, "You're forgiving. Besides, you can ask me any question that comes to your mind. Just say the word, and I promise I will give you an honest answer. You are safe and sound."

Sasha's smile made his heart melt, placing a hand as he slowly touched her hand by caressing it softly, it touched a spark between the two, and grunted with a 'yes' to her; Unfortunately, neither Logan nor Sasha knew if she had other rare abilities than healing factors and claws.

"Were you experimented on?" he mumbled. She heard him and raised an eyebrow, shaking her head with a 'No.' "I was born with them," she replied. Gazing at the fireplace, she continued to explain how it all began during her childhood.

On how her older sister had accidentally spilled some vibranium/magnesium liquid on her while working for The Avengers, which caused Logan to groan at the mention of the Avengers. After sharing many stories about her past, she noticed that Logan listened intently, understanding why her family supported her special abilities.

They had taught her to control her anger without sending her to any kind of institute and to keep her metal claws a secret from the world. In turn, he began explaining his own past with the X-Men.

He expressed his desire to offer her a place there to keep her safe, but she declined. "I won't go to a place that isn't safe for mutants. Besides, I'm fine living in my cabin in the small town," she said. Sasha continued, "It's part of my grandparents' home. I will never leave it unattended."

Logan nodded with a grunt, "Well, in any case, if you do go to X-Men...just know that you will be safe and sound away from it."

"I'll take your words seriously." Once the conversation was over, both of them were gazing into the fireplace while their own past reflects in memory lane: "Hey, Sasha?"

"Yes?" She said. Turning around now facing Logan, who stands up from the sofa, they both figured out about each other's secrets: "Thank you."

"For what?" Sasha asked confused, making him slightly chuckle at her confusion, and responded with a gentle smile, forming across his lips: "For listening & telling me the truth about your powers." Logan continues, "I had a hard time trusting others in my previous life so, I thank you for it."

She hesitates at his words but then relaxes by offering Logan a better place to sleep on her bed, he nods and follows her up the ladder, leading to her bedroom while the full moon lights up the room from the large window next to her bed as stars began sparkling the night sky.

Sasha begins to get in the bed and pats the other side of the bed for Logan to join in and he does. Crawled towards it and began to mess with Sasha, by moving closer to her face in a teasing manner: "Do you want to do something fun, bub?~ You seem to be hot in my eyes right now.~"

Telling her in a husky tone, making her face turn red in a matter of minutes, and twitching her eyebrow in embarrassment by telling him, "G-g-go-o T-To-o sleep, James!" She whisper-yelled at him and fell to sleep.

A faint chuckle was heard from Logan, who moved away and also fell asleep.

From then on, Logan feels relaxed and safe for the first time from one of his previous lives in someone else's house, although he can't fall asleep since he can't stop thinking about the nightmare about him feeling guilty for killing Jean Grey; Sasha came into view of the picture in his dream and commence to tell him to wake up.

He didn't want to but, he had no choice, He finally woke up from the nightmare and almost thought he killed another innocent mutant person, however, this time it ended up something he never thought he'd ever encountered other Wolverine-like moments ago, apparently Sasha ended up responding to his question and begins to tell her origins on how her childhood caused her to be surprisingly open to him and no one else.

Back to the story, Sasha had wrapped his torso from behind before he could complain or nudge her away, he went blank. It took him a moment to process the situation of her hugging Logan's torso in her sleep, which caused him to start shifting over his body a bit, tries not to disturb a sleeping Sasha Ross; All of a sudden, Sasha who whined a bit made a small frown at something that made him wonder in his deep thoughts:

'You are seriously something aren't ya, bub? I wonder...what are you dreaming? Nothing worse than mine I hope.'

Caressed her cheek with his hand, removing a string of dark brown hair that almost covered her entire face when Logan silently chuckles and shakes his head slowly to himself by shifting now face-to-face and staring at her features, her sleeping form was very calming to him.

Smiling inwardly at this, Logan closes his eyes and falls into a deep slumber. Some things happen for a reason, to be some sort of feeling to 2 different opposite people with the same opinions, but little do they know that Sasha & Logan will eventually, fall for each other.
