Roxy's POV
Janet meant business when she said that. But the overstimulation from tipped furniture to the walls and the cup was getting to me. I closed my eyes and sat, arms folded across my chest.
"Your news just went to the International Regime Comittee. There will be a proposal for your removal or addition to the team. Neither can be predicted, since both of you have posed threats to humanity." Janet said.
"But I didn't even do anything!" Cyrus jumped his shoulders, I could hear his blade clink and drag as his shoulders moved.
"Disappearing without a trace is considered malicious intent among our circles, nomad. Don't you know that already?"
Janet's voice made Cyrus pout. I heard his little voice of upset.
"When is it, Janet?" Gena asked, already standing up.
"Maybe tomorrow. Maybe day after. But be prepared for anything. If it is removal...maybe they'll suggest you to be locked up in the building like caged puppies."
I breathed out angrily. I drew attention.
