In this mountain range winds were a constant. They were a also very fast and strong. So it would be effective here but in other places? I don't think so.
"Can't I acquire both?"

While the compensation I got was neat I wondered about another thing. Why couldn't Admin couldn't be accessed? I was sure that Voice, red haired Goddess and Admin were same person.

I asked to her. Even though I knew she couldn't hear it at the time. I knew that she broke her contract and started to create chaos but what made her this busy?
"Another God?"
Only thing that can make a God worry is an another God.

Passive skills were nice but I doubted I could use Wind Riding as effectively as Thunder Eagle.

Due constant battles my stats grown. Looking at Arcane Magic I thought of leveling it up. When Battle Sense reached to level 10 it evolved. Another skill like that would be nice.

I remembered working out when I was human. I guess I was a muscle brained idiot even then? I laughed to myself. I looked my spea… No, Basat. As I thought of its new it give a shine to me.
"I guess this means it liked the name?"
Like it or not like it I wasn't sure I could change it. Demons and their names have power bullshit. I looked up.
"Shit. I have to climb to place I was at now."
If I had one nickels for everytime a monster caused me to fall I would have 2 nickles. Which is not a lot but it is weird that it happened twice. Leaving stupid jokes aside I transformed back. I started to climb back while humming "Staying' Alive".

While I again spent hours climbing I hummed in repeat for several thousands times. I got boring after around 4000 times and I changed to "All Star". After 3000 repeats I turned to "Fly To Stay Alive". I chuckled myself after 200 repeats.
"It is funny because I can't fly."
I am sure becoming a demon increased my memory otherwise I wouldn't be able to remember those songs. Also how could I remember song lyrics and not the facts about my own life?
"That's very dumb."
Laughing to myself I understood why Goddess always was around her descendants. Being alone sucked. Only thing that kept me sane was I needed to stay sane to save Minerva. Also maybe being a demon helped. I looked at my nonexistent right arm.
"Yeah, it definitly helps."
Probably even demons could go insane. I remembered Armor. I wondered if he was a demon before? What he did to piss off Goddess that badly? Why everytime I tried to think Goddess popped?
"Because she is why I am here."
My origin came from her. Also all of my problems.
"Couldn't you just let me die peacefully?"

I heard static came from system as I said those words. While I felt bad remembering her face I still had things to say.
"You saw humans born and die for more time than I can imagine. You had no reason to broke your contract just becase I died."

Static became louder.
"Unless you used it as an excuse to start doing evil things again."
Static became overwhelmingly loud.
"So you can hear me. Maybe not directly but you sure hear me."
I expected to snap to me. Maybe some lightning bolt from sky? Maybe a snarky comeback? But nothing came. I finally climbed to top of mountain.
"You can stop giving me static. It became annoying several hours earlier."

What? This wasn't an automatic message from system. I used Demonic Beast's Outrage to get stronger as I looked around. I coated my spear with my aura.

As my Clairvoyance leveled up I saw the "Divine Beast" she told me about. It held what I thought were the boss of this floor. It looked like a grey owl with golden headpiece. Its golden big eyes, filled with wisdom looked directly to me. It was bigger than the floor boss. Big enough to make me look like a midget in my demonic beast form. I felt the intense pressure coming from it to push my shoulder to ground. I opened my mouth and roared. It had more than twice my magical energy. Its huge body also told me that its physical capabilities were no joke either. Despite that I held my spear tight.
"I can't run."
Running away required me to go down from this mountain top. I doubted I could climb down faster than this owl can fly.
"Do not resist. It will only make your death more painful."
I sighed.
"I really hoped this floor's boss wouldn't speak!"
I raised my spear towards it. It dropped the bloody copse of the boss to ground. Due its size it made a loud noise when it hit the ground.
"You are facing against emissary of a Goddess and that's how you behave? Kneel, maggot!"
I felt pressure getting heavier. Despite that I stood tall.
"You came to me. You told me that you will kill me. What do you except me to do you fucking bird-brained idiot!"
I roared to it. Divine or not I am sick of taking shit from others.
"I am symbol of wisdom. You think you can insult me?"
"I already did."
It was funny seeing a divine beast get offended.
"You truly are her spawn. You will perish here."
It was talking about red-haired Goddesss? Did it know things I didn't know?
"Good. I was really craving for some answers."
Before killing it I would get my answers.
"Don't get so arrogant, demon!"
Tens of golden magic circles with ancient greek letters appeared in from of him. Circles were bigger than mine.
"Compensing for something?"
"Die."
As golden arrowns were fired from circles I was ready to block. Every arrow I blocked felt like a train hitting my entire body. Despite that I blocked all of the arrows.
"Hahaha."
I breathed deep.
"You blocked my first attack. Will you be able to block second?"
It said in a mocking voice as more circles appeared. While blocking them I slowly was pushed back. I took a quick look behind me and saw that I was about to fall from edge. My claws left marks in the ground but even they weren't enough to keep me where I was. As I blocked more and more I realized something.
"This energy is similar to Armor's."
