"Are we going to hide it from our daughter?"
"At least let me have a word with her first."
"Alright!"
Christine Quinn moved to the door and opened it with a serious expression.
As soon as Marie saw Christine coming out of Skyler Jones's room, her eyes widened instantly, "Mommy, you..."
"Uh, I... don't get the wrong idea... Your daddy and I... we..."
Marie sighed in relief, "I didn't see you this morning. I thought you left me again like last time. So you were in daddy's room! Are you and daddy..." Her little face turned excited.
Christine smiled awkwardly, "Well..."
"Marie, come in, daddy will explain to you." Skyler Jones's voice rescued the terribly embarrassed Christine.
Marie ran excitedly into the room.
Christine slipped into the bathroom, feeling embarrassed.
When Christine finished washing up and came out, Marie was no longer in the room.
Christine walked to the bedside and asked Skyler Jones curiously, "Where's Marie?"
"She went to school."
"Oh, you told her?"
