It all started on the giant screen in the Mercenary Plaza, which was used to display the mission rewards for various Mercenary Corps.
Of course, if a hunter squad managed an astonishing haul, they could also be listed as an exception. This was considered a way to motivate the ordinary Mercenary Corps.
And the Superpower Alliance's latest haul was certainly worthy of being displayed on the screen.
The residents who usually gathered in the plaza to watch, along with the Mercenaries waiting around for their supplies to be tallied, would habitually glance at the giant screen every time it refreshed. The latest update was, of course, no exception.
At first glance, the information about the supplies didn't seem like anything special.
After all, it wasn't as if they had never seen a Mercenary Corps with a huge haul. A random mission from any Second or Third Level Mercenary Corps could probably bring in just as much, if not more.
