Sorry for the delay over the last few days, guys.

A faint evil smile slowly appeared at the corners of Jack's mouth as he casually walked toward the command consoles inside the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. The giant airborne fortress vibrated softly beneath everyone's feet as engines roared deep within the steel structure. Blue holographic screens floated across the room, displaying endless streams of tactical information, energy analysis, and satellite surveillance.

The atmosphere inside the command center remained tense after Loki's capture. Every agent moved quickly, afraid of making even the slightest mistake.

Jack sat down calmly at one of the computers.

The two female agents seated nearby turned slightly toward him with faintly amused smiles. Naturally, they were not ordinary agents at all.

They were Alice and Ada in disguise.

Their appearances had already been altered by White Queen's projection technology, making them look like completely different people. Even standing inside S.H.I.E.L.D.'s headquarters, nobody noticed anything unusual.

Ada lowered her voice softly.

"It seems this was your goal from the beginning."

Jack immediately revealed an upright and righteous expression.

"Please," he whispered seriously, "do not misunderstand me. I respect Hill sir very much. I am not that kind of dirty man."

Alice almost laughed.

"You're not dirty?" she whispered back. "If someone like you counts as clean, then there are no dirty men left in the world."

Her eyes shifted slightly toward Natasha in the distance.

"That Natasha Romanoff," Alice continued quietly, "she's beautiful, mature, dangerous… don't tell me you have no interest at all."

Jack shook his head with fake seriousness.

"No interest," he declared solemnly. "I am a man of integrity."

Ada nearly rolled her eyes.

Before either woman could continue teasing him, a cold voice suddenly interrupted from nearby.

"During work hours, stop chatting."

Maria Hill had walked over.

Her sharp eyes swept across the three of them with obvious dissatisfaction.

Jack, Alice, and Ada immediately straightened themselves like obedient students.

"Yes, sir."

Hill frowned slightly as she looked toward Alice and Ada.

"I don't remember seeing you two in the command division before."

Ada answered calmly without panic.

"Reporting, sir. We're newly transferred personnel. It's normal you wouldn't recognize us yet."

Hill stared at them for several seconds, her instincts clearly suspicious by nature. But after observing their calm behavior, she finally spoke lightly.

"Work seriously."

"Yes, sir."

At that moment, a frivolous and confident voice echoed throughout the command room.

"This place is really lively. Looks like all the heroes gathered together."

Everyone turned instinctively.

Iron Man had arrived.

Tony Stark walked into the command center under Agent Coulson's guidance, his expensive sunglasses still resting casually on his face despite being inside a military facility. He looked completely relaxed, as though he were entering a party rather than a global crisis command room.

Hill's eyes instantly revealed faint disdain.

She disliked Tony Stark's personality very much.

Too arrogant.

Too frivolous.

Too uncontrollable.

Tony spread his hands casually.

"No need to stare at me like that," he said lazily. "Continue working. Pretend I'm not here."

Ada glanced toward Tony before whispering softly to Jack.

"This guy really does look carefree."

Jack's smile deepened slightly.

"That's what makes it interesting," he whispered back. "The more confident someone is, the more satisfying it becomes when reality crushes them."

Alice sighed softly.

"Honestly… I almost feel sorry for him."

Tony walked directly toward the main screens while speaking confidently.

"Why did Loki go to Germany for iridium?" Tony said casually. "Simple. Iridium stabilizes the portal device. It prevents the transmission gate from collapsing."

He pointed toward the holographic models displayed in front of everyone.

"With enough stabilization, Loki can maintain a portal large enough for an invading alien army."

The room became quieter.

Tony continued smoothly.

"Hawkeye already helped him obtain most of the required materials. The iridium was the final major piece."

Banner adjusted his glasses slightly while observing the data.

"If we don't locate the Tesseract quickly," Banner said quietly, "the Chitauri army could arrive on Earth at any moment."

Tony smirked lightly.

"And when that happens… things will get explosive."

Fury finally stepped forward.

"Banner," Fury ordered, "continue searching for the Tesseract. Stark, assist him. Start by analyzing Loki's scepter."

Tony shrugged.

"Sure. Doctor, let's work."

The two geniuses walked toward another research station together.

Meanwhile, Jack's eyes flashed faintly.

"Loki's scepter…"

Ada lowered her voice.

"That contains the Mind Stone, right?"

Jack nodded slightly.

"Yes. But there's no need to take it immediately."

Even though his tone sounded casual, his thoughts were already moving quickly.

The Mind Stone…

One of the six Infinity Stones.

A terrifying artifact capable of controlling minds and amplifying consciousness itself.

Interesting.

Very interesting.

Jack leaned back slightly in his chair and sighed dramatically.

"This place is honestly boring."

Ada smiled mischievously.

"If you're bored, why not continue flirting with your cold beauty commander?"

Jack glanced sideways toward Maria Hill.

Hill stood not far away with arms crossed beneath her chest, her cold expression unchanged. She looked like a woman carved entirely from ice.

Ada continued teasing softly.

"Women like her are dangerous. Cold on the outside, but maybe once you break through… she becomes passionate enough to flood the Yellow River."

Jack's lips curled upward faintly.

"You understand women surprisingly well."

At that exact moment, Hill suddenly turned her head.

Her eyes met Jack's directly.

The two stared at each other silently.

Neither side looked away immediately.

Jack's gaze remained calm, playful, and almost aggressive.

Hill's eyes were colder, sharper, filled with warning.

For a brief second, the surrounding noise of the command center seemed to disappear entirely.

Finally, Hill was the first to slightly shift her gaze.

"Tom," she said coldly, "please focus on your screen."

Jack smiled lazily.

"Yes, sir."

Hill quietly exhaled afterward.

For some reason, being stared at by this strange rookie made her heartbeat feel slightly unstable.

That annoyed her.

On Jack's computer screen, a small holographic image suddenly appeared.

White Queen.

Her tiny projected face floated above the monitor while her voice sounded directly through Jack's concealed earpiece.

"Ohhh, so you and the cold beauty commander were exchanging sparks just now?"

Alice and Ada instantly began smiling.

Clearly, they were hearing everything too.

White Queen continued mercilessly.

"You shameless pervert. You came onto the Helicarrier pretending to work, but actually you just want to pick up beautiful women."

Jack's expression stiffened slightly.

Alice nearly burst out laughing.

White Queen sounded extremely pleased now.

"Watching you pretend to act serious while flirting is honestly hilarious."

Jack silently endured the verbal assault.

Inside his mind, however, he was already planning revenge.

White Queen needed discipline.

Severe discipline.

"What?" White Queen continued proudly. "Not happy hearing the truth? If you have the ability, come catch me."

Jack slowly stood up from his seat.

Hill immediately noticed.

"What are you doing?"

Jack maintained a calm expression.

"Sir, I need to use the restroom."

Hill nodded casually.

"Go."

Jack turned and walked out of the command center.

The moment he entered the hallway, his expression changed instantly.

"White Queen," he said dangerously, "have you prepared yourself mentally?"

White Queen sounded completely fearless.

"What can you do? You won't find me."

Jack smiled coldly.

"Won't find you? Even if I have to flip this entire Helicarrier upside down today, I'll drag you out."

White Queen snorted proudly.

"Fine, fine. I'm actually researching the Mind Stone right now. Tony Stark and Banner are nearby too."

Jack's eyes narrowed slightly.

"What did you discover?"

White Queen's tone became more serious.

"The Mind Stone's raw energy isn't overwhelmingly destructive… but its control capabilities are terrifying."

Jack listened quietly.

"It can directly influence intelligent lifeforms," White Queen explained. "In simple terms… it can turn enemies into obedient puppets."

Jack's eyes flashed slightly.

"Obedient puppets…"

White Queen continued.

"And not just intelligent beings. Animals too. If you wanted, you could probably control a chicken and make it follow commands."

Jack immediately replied shamelessly.

"Then I'll definitely use it on you first. Make you kneel and kowtow a hundred times."

White Queen instantly retorted.

"In your dreams."

Then her tone suddenly became playful again.

"Oh right… your cold beauty commander is looking for you."

Jack raised an eyebrow slightly.

"Interesting."
