Chapter 15 - On Beş

"How could I not believe you, Big Bro? Everything you said happened exactly like that. From this moment on, I don't know a single tough guy who could tear me away from you!"

Toraman was pumped up. What I was curious about, however, was the book he claimed to have picked up but couldn't currently see in his hands.

"Toro, you said you got a book, where is it? Show me."

"Big Bro Max, I opened it as soon as I woke up. A skill came out of it."

'Look at this sluggish bastard, the moment he got shocked, he immediately sped things up. It's obvious from his face anyway, this brat is a total sly fox!'

While doing a character analysis in my head, I had switched to poker face mode and was looking at the oversized teen's face expressionlessly.

"Come on then, tell me your new skill!"

My request surprised him. For some unknown reason, he seemed to hesitate between speaking and staying silent for a while; meanwhile, I was changing my gaze too. Maybe this lesson wasn't enough for the village bumpkin.

Stun – Tier 1

– An effect that restricts the movements of the Fallen for 1 second.

– Against Fallen of a higher level than the user, the success rate drops by 30% per level.

– Against Fallen of a lower level than the user, the effect duration increases by 50% per level.

– Tier Two Requirement – Perform 10,000 successful stuns.

Now that the crowd control skill had arrived, it could be said that all the necessary conditions were met for now. With my attack skill that ignored the defense of a Fallen at the same level, a tank who, despite being completely clueless about the world, was ours, a healer, and our sluggish bastard who would let us escape in tough times.

"Very good. According to my plan, let's first try to level up individually in the zones where we have immunity. Rimel, it's enough if you just use your Purify skill. Since you don't have attack power, we wouldn't want you to die."

"Big Bro, for the love of God, calm down. It would be best if you don't use your skill for now!"

When I turned toward him after talking to Rimel, I found Sukrucuk sweating bullets. Since he didn't have a grasp of the situation, he was constantly thinking of scenarios where the downsides of the skill he gained dragged him to his death.

"Toro, you know what to do!"

There was no need to say anything to the oversized teen; it was obvious from his every move that he had tasted first blood.

"Rimel, send a party invite!"

"Toraman, send a party invite!"

For a while, we were going to be at four different ends of the village. If I wasn't thinking wrong, we should be able to communicate with each other through the party.

When both people selected the 'Yes' option from the choices appearing in front of them, our four-person team was formed. Honestly, I was very curious about what a party made up of such completely unrelated people could do.

After parting ways for a short time, the moment I arrived at my Alcohol Zone, I saw the Fallen wandering everywhere like a colorful cocktail. There weren't many people around; the few that were there were the ones who died in the previous round and suffered the eight-hour torment, and they were looking at the mobs from behind the shield, scared shitless.

"Come on boys, the ministers should step aside, the Prime Minister has arrived!"

I couldn't help but make this joke. Even in my age group, there were so many people who hadn't heard of Devekuşu Kabare; well, isn't that exactly why people end up like this, because they don't realize what they're missing out on while living?

I stepped to the other side of the shield, passing through the people who had gathered in one spot unconsciously. After this move of mine, some sinners who had lost their lives at the hands of the mobs started talking mockingly.

"I guess dying once wasn't enough for this guy!"

"The lion cub's got some balls coming here!"

When I turned around, I found the owners of the insulting words laughing their asses off. I wasn't mad; right now, I was busy engraving their faces into my mind so I wouldn't forget them.

"Mark my words, as long as I am here, I will not help anyone who gives even a glass of water to these people!"

"Evil points received +5!"

I guess the attitude I threw just pleased the system; it suddenly shoved the evil points right at me.

"Keep moving, you jalopy! Go die once more so they can send you to The Second Layer of Hell!"

The ones busting my balls were a group of about thirty people. The words of one among them, acting like a hotshot with a slouched shoulder, were ringing in my ears right now.

"Son, don't mind these dogs, didn't they tell you after you died?"

An uncle with graying hair and a slightly hunched back spoke, lowering his voice so no one would hear, as he grabbed my hand and pulled me inside the shield.

"What did they tell you, Uncle?"

This person, who had Headline written above his head, raised one eyebrow after my question and just stared at my face, his mood slightly ruined.

"Don't play dumb, child, weren't we all told that if we die twice in the same day, we'll be sent to The Second Layer of Hell?"

My eyes sparkled when I received the free information. This treat, which I absolutely couldn't say no to, was going to have a doping effect on my system.

"Add friend Headline!"

The moment I sent the friend request to the old man, he jumped out of fear. Even though he hadn't accessed his stats yet, my invite had reached him.

"Select the one that says 'Yes', Uncle. You can go and catch your breath somewhere now, because from now on you will not be killed by the Fallen around the village!"

The man, who sized me up from head to toe with a "what kind of maniac did we run into" look, was watching me from where I left him, even though I had stepped outside the shield.

"Angel, oh Angel, you burned me. Should I wander the deserts with your love, daughter of a cruel man?"

As Wasted lvl 1 headed toward me because I entered his area of effect, he was laying the foundations of the conversation he would hold me captive with until he took my life once he caught me.

It was the perfect time to test my skill. Ignoring the thousand and one kinds of words coming from behind me, I activated Unstoppable Fist.

After my right hand was scorched by a heat as if it had caught fire, I got the feeling that, perhaps for the first time, I was holding a great power in my hand. My arm was pulled to the side of my body, and the palm of my clenched fist was facing upward.

I could only figure out this stance, which felt very familiar from somewhere, when I threw the punch. Wasted lvl 1 was just about to hug me when I pulled back my left arm standing in front and planted my right fist on his jaw.

Unstoppable Fist Was Successful

Tier 1 (1/10,000) Reminder Options Every successful strike / Multiples of 100

The Fallen was completely devastated; a feeling had also formed in me that if I pushed a little harder, I would pass right through him. Since the notification arrived too, this skill was truly mine now.

Of course, I chose multiples of 100. I wasn't enough of a megalomaniac yet to want to listen to this message after every punch.

Man, that punch was truly the real deal. If I'm not mistaken, it was supposed to be a basic karate punch form. I wouldn't have much time to think for long; the partner of the Fallen I just crumbled was running toward me.

Bam!

After one-shotting him too, I started gathering the drops from the two mobs. This part was going to give me a bit of disappointment. I had received a skill book after my first hunt in this zone, whereas the few copper coins resting in front of me now didn't interest me at all.

I still picked up the coins and threw them in my pocket just in case, of course. Ultimately, wasn't waste a major sin too?

I quickly returned inside the shield. Before stepping aside and sitting down, I could feel the fearful gazes of the types who were tearing their asses off yelling just a moment ago on me.

"Let's take a look at our stats!"

Name: Max

Title: Sinner

Level: 1

Health Points: 10

Magic Points: 10

Energy: 6

Attack: 10

Defense: 10

Strength: 1

Endurance: 1

Agility: 1

Wisdom: 1

Skill: Unstoppable Fist

Class: None

Goodness Points: 15

Evil Points: 15

Two new headings were added to the list, but one thing here felt weird to me. Man, when I told the old guy I would help him later, no Goodness Points were written, but when I threatened those jerks, the system immediately shoved Evil Points at me.

My energy had decreased in the meantime. Since it dropped by 4 points after throwing two punches, it meant I would need to rest for a while after making five strikes.
