I was invited to go to a cafe with friends. Walking at a nearby street as I wait for them.They said to be there at exactly 3:15 , so I got there like 15 minutes earlier than expected. It's currently 3:08 so i decided to walk for a while. seeing some boutiques that has a new design, I didn't notice that my feet already took me to the place. I stroll for a bit and saw this cute blue and white dress with a lace on the bottom. it looks cute ,I thought I'd give it a try since I want it. startled by a man who suddenly talked, I dropped the dress. I was about to get it but he got it first so I shyly apologized. "Sorry for that, it looks so cute so I grabbed it" I said without thinking. "No worries, ma'am, would you like to buy it?" he said casually. I think he's the store owner. I wonder if he thinks I'm cute because he is SOOOO HANDSOME. Oh no! he's talking and I didn't pay attention. Ugh! it's because of that gorgeous face of his. "W-what? Sorry what???" I panicked a bit. He may think of me as weirdo that's just wandering around. "oh, I was talking about giving it to you for free cuz you got more on your hand. haha" he slightly smirked. "oh my, thank you then. I would gladly accept. uhmm. May I ask where the cashier's at?" Smiling from ear to ear, I talked to him like nothings happening in my mind right now. At the cashier, My phone suddenly rang and I totally forgot about the cafe. its currently 3:21 and I'm 6 minutes late. "Here you go, Thank you for the dress, Very appreciated. Let's meet again next time" I said I'm such a hurry voice. Handed him the money and ran to the cafe. They were already there. I apologized as I sat in a empty chai, and realized there was another empty chair. so I asked them who are we waiting for. The store owner suddenly walked-in and glanced at me smiling. I smiled as a form of greeting and I was surprised that he sat beside on of my friends . "Guys, I'm engaged!" She said while clinging to Mr.Shopkeeper. She gave us wedding invitations one by one . I, smiling, accepted the invitation. I was so shocked at what happened so for the rest of my time there I was just smiling and answering them with " Yeah" "Good for you" or "That's Good" while still smiling. I thought I've met the love of my life. But then, that thought just got boom like BOOM IN MY HEAD 🤯. After that, I got home, Fixed my stuff, and plop down. I was so flustered by what happened that I forgot to go by my dinner. As I was bickering through my cabinets, the doorbell rang. I peeked at the door and saw my best friend holding a box of chicken 🐔. I opened the door for him and let him in. He was my best friend since college. He knew my personality better than any one, he knows me better than anyone(better than my sister ,that is). "So, how's your day goin? Seeing you forgot to buy dinner again. Are you depressed or anything? Did something happened while I'm not with you?" he said that so casually and didn't even look at me once while saying it, he's preparing our dinner so I won't argue with that. "Yeah, How in the heck did you know? And Is this leftover chicken in your restaurant again?" I smiled as I talked to him. He really know how to cheer me up. I told him what happened and we ended up laughing at myself. He fall asleep while I was cleaning what we used . Done with the cleaning, I scroll in my phone looking for some comics or EBooks to read Cuz I'm not sleepy. Found this Comics where the Female Lead died and got reincarnated as a princess. It's so cool that I wished that it also happened to me. I was sitting Beside him as I scroll on my phone and he moved his head on my lap and used it as a pillow. I didn't get annoyed tho because I owe him so much for bringing me dinner everytime and always being there when I need him. I continued to scroll on my phone until I finished the book. I didn't realized that it was already the last chapter so i was bored again.scrolling and scrolling and scrolling and scrolling and scrolling and scrolling and scrolling and scrolling until my best friend woke up. " Why are you still awake? it's the middle of the night and your still scrolling on your phone. Are you not sleepy? You'll get sick if you keep doing this " he said while rubbing his eyes. I look at the clock and it's 2:38 in the morning and I'm still not sleepy. "Nope, I'm not. I tried sleeping earlier and ended up cleaning the whole apartment while your sleeping so soundly." I said in a teasing voice. I didn't expect him to be that worried about me. Because he always makes fun of me. He stood up and pushed my towards my room. " Quick, get change and let me borrow a coat." he said in a still sleepy tone. I don't get it. what does he want to do in the middle of the night. Still, no questions asked, I got changed and threw him a black knee length coat. He pulled me outside the building of my apartment and continued walking. "What are we doing in the middle of the night. What are you planning to do?" I ask making him stop for a bit. He looked at me with eyes semi closed and said "you said you can't sleep, let's take a walk for a cool morning breeze. You'll say your too lazy If I said that we'll go for a stroll." I just smiled that he knew what I was gonna say.
