Sixty-seven more years slipped by after that.
[ Congratulations to Host for Training 1,000 Years! Reward: 'Ways To Train To Godhood' ]
Finally, something worth celebrating!
What's this — 'Ways to Train to Godhood'? Let's check it out.
"System, show me what this 'Ways to Train' thing is about."
Suddenly a flood of memories surged into my mind — an unpleasant sensation, like someone pouring information directly into my skull with a firehose. But once the dizziness passed, I realized these training methods were something else entirely.
I got up and started sorting through the new memories, then tried imitating the first one: 'Way to Do Push-Ups.'
It was a strange stance, though an outside observer would've just seen an ordinary push-up position. My muscles were already screaming before I'd even started the actual exercise.
Then I heard that familiar robotic chime again.
Bing!
[ Gained 1 Strength ]
Holy — this training method is actually insane.
After gaining two more points from it, I tried the other techniques, and every single one worked the same way — identical stances, but somehow the method itself made my muscles twitch and burn on a completely different level. Even running felt like dragging an entire mountain of solid steel behind me.
After a few tests, I figured out that the intensity scaled with my own strength — the "mountain" kept getting heavier the stronger I became. And there was even a dedicated way to train Endurance now, which finally stopped feeling like punching myself in the face for fun.
Alright, this is a good way to train, and it feels even more addictive than before.
I didn't realize it at the time, but one year of training under this new method felt like a single hour. A hundred thousand years passed by, and to me it felt like maybe eleven.
"Huh, I think I actually trained for over ten years or so, haha—"
I looked up at the timer and nearly choked.
W-what? Another hundred thousand years? Just how?
Let's check my status.

Guess I overdid it a little.
Since I'd gained 'Training Addict,' time started slipping away like sand through my fingers. Another two hundred thousand years vanished before I even noticed.
Why did that feel even shorter than last time? Has the effect grown again?
"Well, I guess it can't be helped. System, show me my status."

I understood why my other stats kept exploding upward. What I didn't understand was why my Wisdom had stalled dead in its tracks.
Training Addict's effects clearly weren't something to underestimate — the more I trained, the more addicted to training I became, in a loop that should probably have worried me more than it did.
At this point, there was only one thing left to do: chase the absolute peak of it all.
