It's been a month since Thep started the spartan training of Finn alongside Ais. Their stats were raised quite a bit in this time but mostly their body control and skills became better.
Looking back at the month he was abus- trained, Thep couldn't help but tremble. Finn was a real demon if he pushed himself and he was no match for him physically, so while he could just have used runes or other things, it would hinder his progress in almost everything he was taught.
He learned how to properly handle a spear will getting the shit beaten out of him. It was honestly a new experience for him but it wasn't all.
He didn't just train in this month but also got friendlier with the familia as a whole and mostly, researched runes. With the option of having the runes permanently embedded on every things he could think of including himself, a whole new path opened to him.
But the cost of embedding a rune in a living being was many times greater than doing it on a inanimate object. Thep approximated the stats needed for doing it around 1500 in MAG.
He already had idea about what runes he would use on himself. "Hephaestus finished forging your weapons, the two of you should get ready, just need to bound them to you." Finn was perturbed why the two normally stone faced kids were so happy but just let it go. 'Probably the weapons...'
Thep and Ais quickly got up from the ground wincing in pain a little, but already accustomed to this they each entered their rooms and showered at light speed to directly go at Hephaestus residence

In the manor of Hephaestus, three persons were trying hard to contain their excitement. Two of them because of the weapons they were actually going to receive and the other because he would get to see the bounding.
"Okay I should show them to you, honestly I am also a little excited about thoses weapons..." Hephaestus was going into her armory to retrieve the equipment, they found her working on some sword as they arrived here, the weapons were already ready just cooling down.
"You two should thank me, you know I had to give some of myself to do this!" Loki was pouting on the side. As the materials for the weapons included the dna of gods, she had to help Hephaestus in the forging process. It was also why they joined her at the manor.
"I really wonder what it would look like..." Thep was pretty excited about the weapons and even if it didn't show on his face, he expected some kind of change with the weapons he would have.
When Hephaestus returned she had two weapons with her, one was enormous compared to the other, who could actually be described as normal when facing the big one.
"So one is child sized weapon and the other is already the size for an adult...." Finn was looking at the weapons intently but quickly came back to reality when Hephaestus shook her head.
Loki opened her eyes slightly "Wait, are you really telling me that-" "Both are child sized." No one could have been prepared to this.
The two weapons were completely different. One was a pristine sword with a light handle and really thin blade, the blade herself was exquisite, made of an argent like material gleaming at the sunlight with white enchantment running down it. The handle was a work of art by only the details made on it.
As for the biggest weapon. Why it took everyone by surprise was because of it's size but also, because of it's appearance. It was the kind of spear never seen before that even gods haven't laid eyes upon it.
The handle was made of a gold like material, running down to the center were various wave patterns and just before the head was a closed eye like pattern embedded in it with golden protection around. But what was really breathtaking was the head of the spear.
The head itself was longer and larger than the handle, one could almost mistook the weapon for a claymore because of it. It was made of a black material fused with adamantine and blue runes were running down it. the center of the blade was glowing with a blue light.

Everyone except two people were thinking that no one could ever lift that. But Thep was looking at the spear with a barely restrained excitement. 'Shit... It looks just like Karna's Vasavi Shakti!'.
The spear was exquisite and looking at it Thep had the idea every genius would ever have. 'I'm gonna make a weaponized neutron star.'
"You three shouldn't think to much about it, he seems to like his spear like I predicted." Hephaestus was smiling wryly at the reactions of the familia but quickly got over it. Looking more serious she started detailing about the weapons.
"I made them growth weapons in every sense of it, they will use the surrounding mana converting it into materials to not only reinforce their structures but also grow to fit perfectly your bodies and empower themselves. As they were made with the dna of your gods only people in your familia could normally wield it but now to bound with them you just need to use your dna. It will make them adapt to your bodies as time passes and this time only you two will be able to wield them. A drop of blood will do."
Thep and Ais nodded as Hephaestus handed them a needle to prick themselves. Ais started so having the weapons on her thighs she made herself bleed, not even having a reaction. As the blood touched the sword, it was magically absorbed by it in a swirl of mana. The runes on the blade took a golden hue before some scribing on it changed and the handle changed to fit perfectly Ais hand.
"Wow it looks way better now~" Loki had her hands on Ais sword will her nose was blowing steam, perhaps because she was so close to her thighs. Ais raising one feet, kicked Loki in the head while handing the needle to Thep.
Thanking her, he held the spear with one hand after pricking himself and touched the blade with his finger. tracing his finger along the head, the weapon started to absorb his blood before... nothing.
"Wait so nothing is happening?" Loki asked but Hephaestus and Thep could feel change taking inside the spear. Hephaestus because she was the creator who "birthed" the weapon and so as such she knew it was changing and Thep as the holder and soon to be wielder of the spear.
Suddenly the closed eye on the handle opened to reveal an eye pattern glowing green. The green light quickly spread to change the blue line on the blade as the runes also started changing.
All the runes on the blade glowed with a strong green light before they seemed to twist and coil on themselves like snakes. The green light encompassed the whole room before fading slowly.
Revealing that the runes changed to glowing hieroglyphs like green patterns, contrasting with the black head of the spear. Everyone was stunned by the changements in the weapon but Thep was extremely excited about it.
"Okay THAT was cool!" Loki shouted but like pretty much everyone else, she looked away. While the blade was looking like a work of art that couldn't be produced by even the gods before, now just looking at it created a certain dysphoria in people's mind.
The feeling quickly vanished when the eye on the handle closed itself. All except Thep were quite happy about this. "So this can also happens.... I should advertising growth weapons... but I'm the only one who can make them..."
While Hephaestus was lost in her thoughts, mumbling things in the backside, Thep and the other quickly got out of the manor to not disturb her in the work she still had to do.
"I think you guys should try thoses weapons in dungeon, I and the rest of the main party will be here of course but you two still need some experience for yourselves." Finn was actually giving them good advice as, where could you grow more quickly than in the dungeon? At least it was what Thep thinked
Ais not understanding why still nodded her head and on the path to the Twilight manor everyone talked about the floor in the dungeons and Finn also gave details about their weak points.

In his room Thep was thinking about what runes to apply to the spear in the future. "So I should be able to create runes for it when my MAG stat hits the thousand bar..." He was still thinking about what to do with his weapon, mostly how to transform it into a neutron star without obliterating the earth.
Not coming up with an idea to not kill every single entity on the mortal plane, Thep just got to sleep after showering. As he slowly drifted into the land of dream he didn't notice some mischievous goddess who was about to pull a prank on him.
