"Hold on." Arkail slowly raised one hand before lowering it again, an unusual smile gradually spreading across his face, somewhere between amusement and genuine bewilderment. "At first, you seemed completely serious and utterly focused on accomplishing a single objective, so I chose not to interrupt you. Yet somehow, before I even realized it, this conversation ended with me accepting your condolences and receiving the soul of the boy, Asir." He then looked directly into Robin's eyes, his gaze growing noticeably sharper. "Now, put Asir—and everything concerning Asir—aside for a moment, and explain to me exactly what it is I've been hearing since you arrived."
Arkail's voice became distinctly heavier as he slowly listed each subject.
