"Is it just me," he said, "or has something changed in you?"
I let out a small chuckle. I knew exactly what he meant, but I answered anyway.
"Nothing."
Leon tilted his head, unconvinced. "Not nothing." His gaze lingered on the waves before returning to me. "I saw you and Greg."
My smile faltered slightly.
"The other week," he continued, "you looked like you were about to break yourself trying to survive this marriage. But now…" His voice softened. "Now you look happy. Did you really find that with him?"
