Greetings once again, dear readers.
This extra volume was to tell the story of what Rudel was doing in the capital while his family faced the Holy Kingdom.
I hope you liked the new characters, like the Campbell family, and the new additions to the harem.
Just like with Razel, Rudel will have several women, but Razel wins because the women Rudel will have will be increased by about ten more.
It's not a competition, but there's still a long way to go to finish Razel's story.
Since this volume was short, there wasn't much development or widely forged bonds as in other volumes, but it doesn't matter. In the long run, Rudel will spend time with all of them.
Now, onto the important stuff.
Did you like the characters?
Which one was your favorite?
My favorite is Edgar, for something that will happen later, and obviously Alicia, who—if Airi and Lucy didn't exist—would be the ideal girlfriend for being an adorable, charming, and pure-hearted girl.
So now I'll have to give them more screen time. That's the downside of having so many beloved characters: they all need screen time so they don't end up forgotten or overshadowed.
In Volume 9, new characters and many new enemies will also appear. I don't want to give spoilers, but starting next volume, the countdown begins for an important event.
The best part of the volume was that more people know—and don't care—that Rudel has the Queen as his lover. I wonder if they accepted it reluctantly or simply saw it as normal. Sometimes I'd like to write obscener dialogue regarding situations, whether ecchi or serious, but better not: it would then become an edgy work.
The next volume is the 3rd of my "What If" novel, which will try to give a different conclusion to Aster and its characters. I'm thinking of removing the fanservice to focus on the plot; since I don't remember anything from that work, I'll have to reread it.
Once that work is finished, Volume 8 of Razel and the second of its spin-off will be next, and I'll continue with both until reaching the end of this spin-off. In other words, I plan to finish it this year.
If you expect my other Otome novel to continue, well, you'd better make a fanfic for me to read it too, because I won't touch it for a good while.
With nothing more to say... oh, that's right. There's that detail.
"Dark Ixion." I have a lot to say, but I feel it's not the time yet, but I'd just like to know your opinion.
Did you see it coming?
Ixion as a villain is one of the best things in the work because it would be something completely normal considering his personality and way of being.
Without a doubt, it will be a grand spectacle when the time comes for Rudel, from his universe, to have to fight him. The battle of Anakin against Obi-Wan comes to mind; I was a child and it was the most exciting thing I ever saw in a movie in my entire life; not even Naruto vs. Sasuke compares.
Now then, thank you very much for reading.
See you soon, and welcome to the new year.

The fanservice is for Elaine, because she remains the central focus of the volume to which this interlude belongs.
