Niles was still contemplating on what he should do as the houses were coming along for holding around 3500 minimum to 7000 maximum. Which was honestly unbelievable but considering what was said about it being a large settlement I just timed our group of 600 by ten then added one sixth to it to consider the maximum.
After all the houses considered those who may be relatives or even those who would rather be by themselves.
Niles even considered putting in an inn but honestly is against this idea for now due to the possibility of it not being put to proper use in addition to I don't have alcohol technology yet as I know a inn needs good food, comfortable bedding and alcohol loads of alcohol and the best I could remember were those documentaries about what the do with different types of grapes and learning about respiration specifically anaerobic respiration.
Which is basically when in an oxygen deprived environment yeast will produce alcohol which is usually the malt/starch from the wheat is broken down into sugar which fuel for fermentation which can be used in beer,vodka , whiskey and some traditional spirits.
The problem is that he would need someone with more proficiency in alcohol making and someone who can cook before he considers making an inn.
This though didn't stop him from making a training arena a little side project for those who want to train to become soldiers and a three storey barrack to allow trainees and their instructors to live and is in a place where future expansion can take place where necessary.
Niles then headed off to the forge where the forging team was creating more 2 feller harvesters, 1 dump truck and 3 ore excavators which were covered in dirt but Niles could see that they were progressing well towards having more understanding of creating these behemoths.
What surprised Niles the most was that he could see that people were inside doing the tests for them and could see the construction team and Ron there with his welding gun making sure everything is ship shape.
Niles walked over to him then said " How's the work going for the new vehicles" Ron turned around then said " It's going good just that these lazy bums keep messing up and needs a scolding every now and then , heck just yesterday someone accidentally welded the excavator bucket wrong that it couldn't turn on its coupler we just now started using to quilt replace the buckets"
Ron then continued " By the way lord this was ingenious to have the buckets detachable and exchangeable for different terrains for them, I'll even make modification to the machines that used the old hinge and linkage system with the bucket cylinder for the coupler"
Niles looked at ron who looked completely different like he was a stout old man who lifts at the gym and smiled in happiness at Ron's enthusiasm
Ron was so excited that you could see this old man fan girling about the modification he would make and honestly it's very surprising that they can now become so easily adjustable towards tech like this just because of my divinity.
Niles knew that he hadn't blessed them but this was a passive result of them being my believers which kinda terrified him thinking about his classmates' believers.
Which could mean they would be even more super powered than his own believers due to mana, this is why Niles was considering doing some genetic experiments to see if he could possibly get everyone to a higher combat tier in case battles take place in the future.
The best way to do that is to use what you have and transform it to usable materials as grandpa always said.

Niles asked these things to Nuera which she responded resolutely ( Your project is feasible but will fail to grasp those who are strong enough to immobilize them then rush towards the people, so no matter what approach as long as your people cant even defeat the lowest people on their side one vs one it means you'll be eventually overpowered)
Niles frowned forgetting he needed them to take on multiple people and come out unscathed since their population won't compare to already flourishing kingdoms.

NIles knew that this would be a long shot and he was thinking of every possible way to give his people real strength based on his abilities and the best way was a complete genetic make over and he decided that when the new residents settled he would get a team to capture some sample to test out said theories to create the perfect gene.
While Niles was thinking about this Ron already ran off to complete his work and honestly he was considering when to divide his work since he was head of two teams but seeing how enthusiastic he was just continued on his way.
Along the way Niles could see people working up a storm and even see them wear better clothing although the winter hemp and Lunar silk cotton are not in harvest yet at least the clothing everyone was wearing looked better than the burlap sack clothes they used to wear.
Everyone greeted me with such fervour when I came upon the many houses that were already built and looked amazing that I wish I could live in them but my comfort comes last.
The teams were so well coordinated and they even laid down the piping connected to the junction station as well as the places where wiring will be going when we have a more detailed power grid, even though they were still confused about the said power grids and piping for water they trusted me on the instruction laid down on my blueprint.
When I arrived at the wood kilns I could see that we have quite the stock which I told them to make more just in case of anything and when reaching the wall I surveyed it seeing the team outside harvesting the trees with their chainsaws and feller harvester.
Niles was extremely happy with the progress being made that he was just waiting for Karisa and the others to arrive back with a surprised look at their faces at the transformation taking place from a dingy settlement looking like a backwater alley to a small peaceful village with a sense of order and feeling of contentment in the air.

As I was thinking this I heard a loud crash and could hear it from the section where my house was and immediately rushed over only to see it flattened which I was so frightened about but what I heard them explain was that a house nearby was to be demolished which was the one next to mine but they got confused they all said "Sorry"
Niles didn't cuss them as he knew things like this happen sometimes but what he didn't know was that when he turned his back everyone was chuckling because they deliberately did this as it can be seen that Yuce was there as well holding a piece of parchment behind her with a smile .
She then whispered to them " Great job we can now start making the lords dwelling and make sure he uses one of the houses that are already done until were finished and make him avoid here or you'll spoil the surprise"
Whatever was being planned Niles would definitely feel welcomed by such a present which was made by everyone which he considered doing later until every other house was finished first.
While this was happening some interesting things were happening in two other places which one welcomed good news and the other bad news.
