Seeing Nora and Mike together, I couldn't help but remember what nora told me at the library. To be honest, I can't make up my mind who I want to be with.
As much as I enjoy myself with toby part of me wonders what if I like them both and it's impossible to be with them.
Being part of a supernatural world it so tiring,the idea of having a mate and the alphas want be with me.
Both of them want me, and I can't make up my mind with all this pressure. I couldn't stand seeing Mike kissing Nora in front of me, and I knew Nora was taking advantage of him as well.
Mike and simon are always looking for a way to fight for me while I am not able to make a decision for myself because I am being torn apart by two obsessed alphas.
As I kept kissing toby,I felt my ears ringing, and I pushed toby away as I held my ears.
"Lisa,lisa, what's wrong?" Simon asked as he looked worried.
"My ears,it hurts," I said, still holding.
"What do you mean hurting?" He asked as he pulled my head up.
I looked at him while holding my ears, and he looked at my eyes, and I shut them.
"Lisa, look at me," he said as I tried to shut them tightly.
"I can't simon," I said as I kept turning my head.
Simon held my face and growled at me, and out of nowhere, the pain stopped, and I opened my eyes and looked at toby as he seemed relieved.
"How did you do that?" I asked as I whipped my tears from my eyes.
"It seems like your condition is about to change just like I was when I was your age," he said as he pulled my face closer to his.
"What are you talking about?" I asked, confused.
"The change of your human body turning into immortal,soon you won't be like ordinary person."
"So I won't be able to live like human more like you?"
"Yeah, the hearing is the first change soon more things will be different and you'll be like us"
I couldn't stop thinking about what happened earlier, and now it is starting to make sense.
My phone rang, and I looked at the id caller and saw Veronica's name. She texted me to be home.
"Can you take me home, veronica is expecting me,"
"Sure, let's get home and am sure you're still up for questioning her about everything."
We soon reached home, and veronica was waiting by the door. Toby walked me to the poach and kissed me on the cheek before he walked back to his car.
"Did something happen to you?" She asked as I entered the house.
"Ummm,yeah, I met Nora, and toby took me for a ride. I hoped it didn't scare you wait ... don't tell me you knew about it?"
"Of course I knew but not about you meeting Nora but about you and simon besides isn't he the alpha of our pack?"
"Correction am not part of any pack am just an ordinary person with a strange life about her background "
"True but the more you learn about your background the more you will understand and chose your alpha by the time it's your birthday and full moon"
"I know but am between the packs,I still can't decide who I want to be with let alone I don't know who I am either"
"I understand it's a long ride but you have to make a decision to who you choose for what I know you like them both right?" She smiled as she looked at me.
"Wait how? Where? Am confused how did you know that?"
"I can hear your heart beat race whenever you talk about them"
"I haven't told you about them nor said anything to you"
"I can still tell you that you're not sure who you want to choose so take your time and know that only time will tell"
I couldn't get what she was talking about yet she understands me without me saying anything to her.
That night I couldn't sleep at all, I tried to ignore the feeling but how do I get ride of it when I can't even make my own decision.
I tried every way to sleep I even did meditation to calm down and even tried exercise to get myself tired in the end I fell asleep.
As I fell asleep, I found myself in a dream, I found myself in a room. I was standing in front of a mirror wearing a red dress and I was holding a red rose.
I heard a male voice from a distant and I walked out of the room, as I walked i found myself in an empty corridor, i still heard voices and i walked towards the place where the voice was coming from.
On the way I could see people laughing and holding a glass with a red liquid in it. I assumed it was a red wine but I as I looked closer the liquid turned more darker like blood.
I looked around and saw the same people drinking it and their lips was bloody and as the laughed i saw their teeth turning into fangs.
I was about to scream but a hand sealed my lips, I turned my head and saw Mike smiling at me while holding the same glass as the rest.
"Don't scream lisa,this is our life and soon you will enjoy the taste of it " he said as he took a sip of the drink.
I shook my head and tried to run to the other side of the room only to find myself in a white room and I was standing in front of everyone i looked at myself and I was wearing a blue ocean dress.
I was standing there while holding a bouquet of red rose and the room was open and the snow was falling down as I walked forward.
People turned to look at me as i was walking and as I reached the alter I saw simon he held out his hand and I took it.
We stood together and looked at the priest as I looked around I saw my aunt smiling at me. I looked back and saw toby smiling and I couldn't help but to admire him.
As I looked back at the priest, it wasn't him anymore it was an old man in his 80s and was smiling at me. My heart skipped a bit and I looked at toby.
He was still looking at me when all of a sudden my blue dress turned red,the bouquet i was holding also turned bloody.
I looked at the ground and it all turned blood as well. I looked at toby but he wasn't there he had shifted into a white werewolf with blue eyes and stood next to me.
"Its almost time lisa, chose your mate" he spoke in a terrifying voice that wasn't his.
Before I knew it I was screaming as I opened my eyes only to find myself in my room. I stood up and looked at myself in a mirror.
Veronica came into my room holding a knife while looking around my room.
"What's with the screaming?" She asked looking around .
"Sorry vee, I had a nightmare didn't mean to scare you "
"Good, sorry I mean are you ok?"
"I am for now, not that nightmares can become reality right?"
"What do you mean nightmare what did you see?"
"Its nothing just that I dreamed about toby and Mike and now am more confused than before "
"Like you said it's a nightmare don't think too much about it "
I smiled as she left me alone, I laid back on my bed thinking about it and wondering if I decide who I want to be with will it make a difference??.....
