The two chatted a bit more, finished their cigarettes, and finally left. Only after they were gone did Ash turn his gaze back to Vishi. Vishi's face was dark; she clearly recognized which subordinate had bad-mouthed her and would surely seek revenge later.
"Don't mind them," Ash gently hugged her and whispered, "Neither of us is wanted."
Vishi couldn't help but let out a chuckle, glancing at Ash with mock annoyance. She hummed proudly, pinched Ash's waist, "I wasn't bothered at all!"
