A beam of light streaked through the vacuum of space between the galaxies of the Olympus Universe, crossing the vast emptiness at blinding speed, moving so quickly that most deities wouldn't even realise it had passed until it was already far beyond them.
It raced through a major supercluster before entering the gravitational field of one of the largest galaxies in the western region of the universe, one containing trillions of stars.
The true form of that light beam was a golden chariot, blazing with the power of a star and pulled through the vacuum of space by several Pegasi.
However, the one riding upon the chariot was not its owner, the Olympian Sun god who ruled over music, poetry, and possessed the power of foresight.
Instead, seated upon the chariot was his brother, the Messenger god of Olympus, Hermes.
