Staying in Britain has been one of the most difficult moment for my family ,most especially my twin brother who was mentally retarded and was constantly being bullied by our mate and others we came across...it was something we didn't know how to handle .I always felt like a big burden had been handed over to me from birth, i always felt indebted to my brother like i owed him something i didn't know how to pay him back somehow i took it upon me to always protect him somehow and anyhow no matter what might happen or what rules i had to break neither did i care about how disappointing it could be for others but my brother has always been my only friend right from our mothers womb cause he was my twin and i couldn't just leave him all because his mental state wasn't right and needed constant care from those around .I just couldn't understand why people felt happy bullying those they felt were lower than them or didn't meet up with their expectations ...my brother went through series of being bullied which reduced his self esteem while i tried shrugging off the lustful eyes of our class boys and teachers . Dad had decided we moved to London hoping we could start a new life especially since the Britain economy wasn't going well with us ..we had to struggle to pay our fees and get the basic things we would needed as humans.. The day had finally come for us to start a new beginning .I was a bit skeptic but was calm since my brother gave me the assurance that he would be fine .. if i needed anything the most right now it was to know that my brother felt safe and happy ... we had been on the road the whole day and finally got to the border going into London . Judging by how dark the day had become ...it was almost midnight and we needed to find a place to rest till we get to the building dad had gotten from his friend at a very cheap rate . We saw strange light out of nowhere in the middle of the road like that of a bike ..when it got closer there were four boys probably around the age of i and my brother ..my dad immediately acted on instinct thinking we were probably in danger and got out of the car to ask them for directions and check if they were dangerous ."hi boys ,do you mind helping me with directions ..trying to get to the city but seems like i must have lost my way " he had asked them while watching them closely ,they seemed harmless but i couldn't hide my curiosity so i got out of the car "dad is everything fine out there "i yelled at my dad ,he gave me the assurance that everything was fine ....i caught sight of the boys staring hard at me like they just saw a ghost ...after dad had done some talking and negotiation with the boys he finally got the answers he needed and got back into the car and drove the same direction the boys had taken. On getting to the so called house dad had said we would like ..it was an awful sight cause the house looked abandoned like no one had been there in years .. grass and wild flowers had taken over most part of it and created strong root at the entrance. i couldn't believe my eyes ,the place looked like a spooky haunted house ..dad got so angry and pleaded with us to exercise some patience ..he called his friend but all to no avail ..we somehow got a place to stay but i wasn't sure if i could call it a house ..it was just like a small place ..dad said we only had to spend the night there hoping to get some answers and a new house the next day ..we had no choice so we obliged .
