Kiara paused.

"This part glows in darkness. When the light is low, you can still see where the barrel is aimed. It does not replace skill, but it makes shooting at night far easier."
Malric leaned closer, his expensive perfume faint but noticeable, curiosity sharpening his eyes.
"And this trigger?" he pressed.
Kiara demonstrated slowly, squeezing the trigger halfway, releasing it slightly until it clicked, then squeezing again.
