Su Ye turned back and saw the foul look on Song Jue's face. She leaned against the bathtub.
"It's for your own good, Song Jue."
She pronounced the name "Song Jue" with extra force.
Her words carried a strange, underlying meaning.
Hearing this, Song Jue abruptly looked up at her.
After they stared at each other in silence, Song Jue was the first to speak.
"You went to the Yang Family. Did you learn something?"
Su Ye beamed.
"What do you think I should have found out?"
Song Jue looked away.
"I wasn't the one who went to the Yang Family. How would I know what you found out?"

"Oh."
She replied with that single word and said nothing more.
'He's obviously avoiding the Yang Family on purpose.'
'I bet he's known about this whole older-sister-younger-brother thing for a while now.'
'If he wasn't going to bring it up, she couldn't be bothered to, either.'
