The sun's rays bathed the path in warm light. Someone was walking along the trail, whistling a cheerful tune. Suddenly, something caught their attention.
"What is that?"
He cautiously approached the strange lump lying in the middle of some bushes. It was a body. Cid lay there, unconscious.

Cid opened his eyes and still didn't understand what had happened.
His head was spinning.
"What happened?"
"Where am I?"
After lifting his upper body, he realized he was inside a cave.
Although it was damp, it was comfortable.
"How did I get here?"
Then his head hurt from the memories flooding back all at once.
"I… I remember now."
"A storm hit us and dragged us inside. I tried to reach my hand out to Razel so he could grab it."
"Razel! Where is he?"
Cid hurried to look for Razel, but his body hurt too much to get up.
(If I'm here, he must have rescued me.)
He held his stomach because it hurt badly.
"Well, well, you're awake."
He heard a mysterious voice.
