I was enjoying my hot chocolate when I noticed a man with sandy blonde hair. He was six foot five inches and all muscle. He was watching me with interest. It was the man I had bumped into earlier. He was staring intensely and I blushed pink as I finished my drink. He refused to look away. I ignored him as I got up and walked towards my car. I was still spoiled by my in laws. I rode in my Bugatti Tourbillon. The ride to the station was smooth. I sat down to finish my paperwork. One of the guys came over and asked if he could borrow the car. I made it clear my in laws gave me that if I promised to use it. I am not allowed to loan to anyone. He walked away sour faced but determined. Cleo came and gave me a hug. She was sad that she was duped. She promised to help fix everything but she needed time. I told her to take her time but she needs to understand something. She called to tell me about the proposal I told her that he should apologise and take it back since I used help wedding planners. Everytime I heard a man say that he ended up marrying someone else and the poor girl he swore eternal love to ended up the bridesmaid or a guest at wedding. She didn't believe me so I told her good luck. He was trying to prove me wrong. I grinned ear to ear. Had Zelda been the one to face him he would be eating out of her hands right now but I prefer DD so I will skip him altogether. Tanya was laughing. The others asked why. She explained that anyone who meets me falls in love. He and I will be husband and wife by the end of the month. And just like that a betting pool began. A few believed he will marry Megan. The others believed he will marry me. Some agreed I will marry him by the end of the month. The others say he will marry me earlier than that.
I switched places with Zelda so I can rehabilitate Cora. She needs help if she is going to spend time outside. She was so happy to see we didn't hate. She was happier knowing we wanted her out and about unlike dad. She was pissed he had imprisoned her. She was annoyed that dad died by someone else's hand. But happy he was dead. Regardless she was showing her how defend herself. She was shown not to hurt Tanya since she was someone who makes sure she can kill as many as she likes without getting caught. I gave her a hug and she held on to dear life. We sat down and played chess. Then she decided to show me her knife skills on Uncle Davis. She was curious why he was the specimen. I explained that he had convinced dad to hurt us and not only did he threaten us. He has caused bodily harm. So he is someone we used to release our frustrations. We can hurt him all we want and he will be restored to factory configurations so we can hurt him some more. He is our practice dummy. She listened eagerly. She asked what he did. I showed her the belt marks and knife mark. She looked in the mirror and saw the same marks on her body and she was pissed. She swore she will enjoy hurting him too.
I watched sis explain everything to her. She was always better at explanations. I was better at action. I checked messages to see if anyone had found the incredible hulk. Ever since DD rescued me I haven't heard a peep. I am starting to worry. I enjoy getting under the hulk's skin. Now I have secured DD as Sis's primary admirer. So I got nothing to worry about. As usual I woke up to see Cleo staring with concern. I pat her on the shoulder before I went out to interrogate an offender. Afterwards I went through the cold cases to find the next serial killer. The others joined in and we found a few cases involving the elderly. If Taylor were alive he would tear them limb from limb. Anyway I requested CCTV footage and found their homes were invaded by an unknown person. This unknown knew how to disable their security system in a manner of minutes. Then said person goes in and kills the husband while making the wife watch. Then he takes her upstairs to kill her. He does so very slowly as though he lives to make her suffer. I will have to go through the autopsy report and have a good look at the crime scene photos. Specifically the ones showing the cuts on her body.
I was halfway through the papers when I get a call. Megan and her fiancé was arrested for embezzlement. I walked over and watched her throw him under the bus. I recorded the video and showed it to him. He was shocked. He was innocent and I proved it in ten seconds. He stared at me with wonder. I winked at him as Daryl went to arrest her. As she came out she pretended to care. I told her to shut up. I went back to work and he came to apologise. I gave him a thumbs up and a candy bar. I told him to be careful. There are troublemakers out there. He didn't deserve the humiliation. He looks like he had been through the mill. He needs to find stability. He stared at me like he was trying to find something. I had a killer to catch so I politely dismissed him. Cleo asked me if I found someone who would help get over the death of my dear husband and my baby. I told her to focus on her work. I looked back to see him stare a little longer. I asked a rookie to escort him out. I apologised again and he accepted my apology before he entered the elevator. I walked towards forensics and watched the person unknown walk into a blind spot.
Cleo asked me if the guys have hidden cameras there. I asked her to keep quiet since I don't want the members of the enterprise ending up in the morgue. She apologised and walked away without ceremony. She was getting messages from both sides. One side wanting information to stop the sanctuary killer. The other half was trying very hard to recruit her. Her half brother came to the precinct hoping she would consider joining him since she is an expert in the torture department. She made it clear that if he shows his face again she will forget that they are related and she will shoot him. He was responsible for her son's death. So she was furious. She wanted to kill him but she wanted answers. She will get them if he is alive. She is hoping she wouldn't have to resort to her old ways. She quit being that soulless torture monster since the pregnancy test came positive. She has no interest in joining the dark side. She wants to make a difference and she is doing so as a detective. He is throwing a monkey wrench to disrupt her system. He needs her to be a mindless one again. She has broken people that others couldn't. She was pissed he even reminded her. She told him to leave and the next time he shows his face she will forget they are related. She is trying to find her humanity. He always hinders it. So she gave him a warning. The next time they meet and he harasses her about her past she will consider torturing him.
