Ace blinked in slight astonishment, "…That's it?"
He looked toward the quietly floating die with uncertainty, as nothing catastrophic or miraculous had yet happened, but for some reason Ace felt faintly uncomfortable, perhaps anticipatory, as if something favorable might happen to him in the near future.
Still, compared to the terrifying description of the Abyssal Mirage Dice, the outcome felt strangely mild.
"Only three points above equilibrium…" Ace muttered thoughtfully. "So, the effect is relatively minor? Is my luck that bad?"
At this moment, curiosity surfaced within his eyes again, and without hesitation, Ace grabbed the die from the air and immediately cast it once more.
'Clack!'
The dice rolled across the dark crystalline floor. However, nothing happened as no mirage distortions spread or ancient whispers emerged, and the numbers engraved on the surface remained completely still.
It now looked no different from an ordinary black dice, making Ace instantly frown.
