The room became silent.
Feroz looked at the glowing wall.
The image of the valley disappeared.
Suleiman walked toward another stone wall.
He placed his hand on it.
Golden light slowly spread across the surface.
A new memory appeared.
Feroz immediately recognized it.
It was the night his father disappeared.
He saw a younger Qadir standing outside a small house.
Rain was falling heavily.
Qadir looked tired.
He looked behind him many times, as if someone was following him.
Then the image changed.
A small boy ran toward him.
It was Feroz.
Young Feroz hugged his father tightly.
Qadir smiled.
For a moment...
Everything looked peaceful.
Feroz quietly smiled.
"I remember this."
Suleiman looked at him.
"Do you?"
Feroz frowned.
"Of course."
Suleiman said nothing.
The memory continued.
Qadir knelt in front of young Feroz.
He placed his hand on the boy's head.
Then he whispered something.
Feroz tried to hear the words.
But there was no sound.
"I never remembered this part."
Suleiman nodded.
"Because your mind remembered the feeling."
"Not the words."
The image continued again.
Qadir stood up.
He looked toward the dark forest.
His smile disappeared.
Someone was watching him.
Only a shadow could be seen between the trees.
The shadow did not move.
It simply watched.
Feroz's breathing became slower.
"I never saw that before."
"You didn't."
Suleiman replied.
"Fear made you remember only the goodbye."
"It made you forget the warning."
The shadow slowly disappeared.
Qadir looked back at young Feroz one last time.
Then he walked into the darkness.
The memory ended.
The wall became plain stone again.
Feroz stayed quiet.
"So..."
"I have been remembering it wrong?"
Suleiman shook his head.
"Not wrong."
"Incomplete."
"There is a difference."
Feroz lowered his head.
"So every memory can change?"
"No."
"The event never changes."
"But your understanding does."
Suleiman looked directly into Feroz's eyes.
"The most dangerous lies..."
"...are the ones created by incomplete memories."
Feroz thought about everything.
Zarqaan.
Vaheen.
Qadir.
Even Haroon.
How many times had he judged people before seeing the whole truth?
A cold feeling ran through him.
"What if I have misunderstood everything?"
Suleiman gave a small smile.
"Then today..."
"...you have taken your first step toward seeing clearly."
Before Feroz could answer...
The Eye Door at the end of the hall glowed again.
This time...
It opened a little wider.
A warm golden light poured through the opening.
Suleiman looked toward the door.
"It seems..."
"...the next lesson is ready."
Feroz took a deep breath.
Then both of them walked toward the light.
