"What?"
Alex still hadn't fully caught up to what was happening, as he was still a little focused on the Qi circulating through his body. He slowly let it settle before looking back at the Celestial. Seeing Sunflare's face, he shrank a little.
"How did you learn the Five Yang Divine Path technique?" the man asked, his eyes as wide as they could be.
"I… I learned it in the lower realm," Alex said quickly. "It was a book I found down there."
"What?" The man looked down for a moment before looking back up. "You found our book?"
Alex blinked in surprise. He had always had some inclination that the book with a name so similar to the Nine Yang Divine Tree had to have something to do with it. It appeared it did, for this was a book belonging to the Nine Yang Court.
"I did," Alex said, saying nothing more.
Sunflare's eyes darted around for a moment, as though thinking about something important, before looking right back at Alex.
