Alex walked out of his room after a month of cultivation and met up with Bladedance, who had also left.
Bladedance scanned him with her Divine Sense, sensing absolutely nothing different about him. "You didn't face any issues during cultivation, right?" she asked.
"None at all," Alex answered with a curious look. "Why? Was there a reason that I would?"
"A small one," Bladedance said. "I've heard some rumors, or rather, calling them my own impressions would be best, but Half-Gods tend to not cultivate when they use up whatever energy they have. I don't know why, but the talks I hear make it sound as though it isn't a safe thing to do."
She turned her head toward Alex.
"You did use it, right?"
Alex nodded. "I had no other choice at all," he answered, before his eyes narrowed in consideration of her other words. "Now that I think about it, it does make sense that there would be a danger to cultivating after using up energy like that."
"Does it?"
