Chapter 7: Simple Massacre
(A/N: And I have returned, quite surprising innit? Enjoy the chapter. You know what to do when you spot mistakes.)

Tatsuya and Ye Lian were currently outside killing a few zombies and collecting zombie gels
For today, Tatsuya's employer only asked for 100 zombie gels for witchcraft and trading purposes.
With his ice abilities, Tatsuya froze the approaching zombie's legs and swiftly beheaded the zombie.
After clearing up, he once again looked at Ye Lian and saw that she was finished. He started to collect the zombie gels from the dead zombies around him and Ye Lian did the same.
Although Ye Lian didn't like regular zombie gels anymore, she helped Tatsuya in his zombie gel collection.
After collecting the zombie gels (along with what Ye Lian had), he scanned the items and sent it to his employer.
His work for today was finished and he was paid 1000 Godbucks.
After finishing work for today, he sighed.
"Ah, finally done." Ye Lian silently approached Tatsuya.
"Good work today." Tatsuya greeted the approaching Ye Lian.
Ye Lian nodded and asked for a pen and paper through hand gestures.
Tatsuya caught on and gave her a notebook and a pen.
Ye Lian started writing.
{Good work today, Tatsuya. What do we do next?]
"I have nothing in mind. Wanna go walk around?" Ye Lian nodded.

It was a calm and relaxing walk. There were a few zombies that tried to kill them but they were easily killed by Tatsuya and Ye Lian.
The silence between them was pleasant as well.
'Ah, this is the most relaxing walk I've ever had.' Tatsuya thought as he remembered his past life.
He doesn't go outside that much and when he does, he was always nervous but prepared for any social interactions that he may encounter.
Ye Lian started writing on her notebook. After finishing, she lightly tapped Tatsuya's arm.
Tatsuya woke up from his thoughts and looked at Ye Lian and the notebook she was holding out.
[I am bored.]
'Ah, boredom...'
"Well, we can-" Tatsuya stopped walking as he sensed something.
No, it wasn't just something...
He heard a lot of zombie shouting up ahead, and there were a lot of them. Ye Lian and Tatsuya looked at each other and nodded.
They proceeded with caution.

In the distance, there was a green-haired lad fighting off zombies with a long black-haired girl. They were fighting off a number of zombies.
The green lad knew that if they stayed longer, more zombies would arrive. He was confident with Shana, the long black-haired girl's skill, yes. However, he knew that two against numerous zombies would only lead to one result.
They both die....
They couldn't run away as zombies from all direction started appearing. They were not that many but it was enough to erase any safe escape paths.
He jumped backwards and tried to look for help.
He saw no one.
He held his bat tightly and kept on fending for himself.
Then, he thought of an idea. When he and Shana were forced to retreat back at the building that was behind them, the green haired lad was now confident that maybe this is the only way for them... no, Shana, to escape.
"Shana! Take the supplies and go! I'll lure them away!" The green lad shouted as he gave the bag of supplies he had to Shana. She was shocked.
"What do you mean lure them away?!"
"I'll run away from hear while attracting all the zombies while you go deliver all that to our classmates, come on hurry!" The green haired lad felt brave at that moment.
"But you'll di-" The zombies started entering one by one.
"You run away while I stay here, alright?"
Shana was about to refute once more but the green haired lad knew that they didn't have much time.
"Shana, the group needs you! Who will save the others back at No.3 Senior High School?!" Shana wanted to argue more but was pushed away by the green haired lad, who had gigantic balls at the moment.
Shana knew that Liu Yuhao, the green haired lad, already made up his mind and so, she respected his decision and simply wished him a peaceful afterlife. She did run but something caught her attention.

Liu Yuhao started making noises with his bat to attract the zombies in his direction.
*Hitting sfx*
"I'M HERE!" Liu Yuhao shouted in order to make the zombies focus on him.
It had the intended effect.
The zombies started to run towards him,
The green haired lad closed his eyes, waiting for the painful bites he was about to be given.
....Nothing
He opened his eyes and saw two people fighting the undead with zombie corpses around him.

Tatsuya, who just arrived at the scene exactly at the same time Liu Yuhao closed his eyes, stopped time and started murdering zombies with his short sword. He made throwable knives using ice and started throwing them at the clueless zombies.
He did this for the whole 10 seconds time was stopped.
After 10 seconds, time resumed and Ye Lian entered the scene. She started to join the killing spree.

Seeing that the pair was finsihed, Liu Yuhao slowly approach the two.
The two looked at Liu Yuhao.
Liu Yuhao then asked, "How did the two of you even..."
He was lost for words as he was a mountain of zombie corpses.
"Just simple zombie massacre, nothing to worry about."
