Dan Tingye took out his phone, handed it to Meimei, and watched her try several times. Realizing she really couldn't make a call, her face fell.
"So what do we do now?"
He leisurely took the phone back from Meimei's hand, tossed it aside, and lay down on the grass, using his hands as a pillow under his head.
"Didn't you just praise how beautiful it is here? Why not think of it as a camping trip, spend the night stargazing, and wait for someone to find us by morning."
He had already texted Yao; no one would come looking for them before dawn. They could fully enjoy their time together.
Dan Tingye lowered his eyes, a flash of brilliance passing through his obsidian-like pupils.
He quietly waited for Meimei to return to his side. Sensing someone sitting down beside him, he suddenly opened his eyes and looked at Meimei.
"Are you scared to stay here with me?"
If she was afraid, he would take her back.
