Chapter 1 - (1)->REINCARNATION-I

--3rd person POV--

In a circular dome filled with high quantities of Ether(1), a ball of light was gradually changing its shape. After a while, the shape of the ball resembled a humanoid figure and gradually lost its shine. Standing in its place was a young man with orange hair and sharp features with a tall and athletic body which would give any Olympic sprint runner a run for his money. He opened his golden-red eyes, which had a gleam similar to that of a ferocious beast, and scanned his surroundings looking around with great interest as this was his first time coming here. This man was Seiya Ryujin, the man who was summoned to save the SS-ranked world Ixphoria.(2)

--Seiya Ryujin POV--

'I guess this must be the reawakening chamber.'

I thought to myself as I looked around my surroundings and saw the circular walls, filled with intricate patterns which looked like the characters of some ancient language, surrounding me with a massive door in front of me which seems to be the only exit present.

Before moving towards the exit, I checked the condition of my body both internally as well as externally.

'It seems that the reawakening went without a hitch.', I sighed with relief.

There have been some cases where during the reawakening, some part of the body was left missing or the body received a backlash which resulted in the person becoming crippled. Though these cases were mostly for those who suffered severe mental or physical trauma before their deaths, one can never be too sure. This is the reason why it is called reawakening and not rebirth as the soul which is store in the is used to reconstruct the body using the ethereal energy present in the .(5)

'I can't wait to get back to my home-world! It has been so long since I last saw my parents. I don't even know whether they would even recognize me with my current age, after all, for them it has not even been 10 days while for me 10 years have passed! Not to mention, my facial features and my hair color have also changed after that ', I thought as I could barely contain myself from running to Ariadoa, my love and the Goddess who summoned me to .

'Come to think of it, where is she? Shouldn't she be here already ?', I wondered as I started walking out of the .

--3rd POV--

Meanwhile, in the central part of , the place where only the Great Gods and Goddesses were allowed to live, inside a tower that seemed to reach the skies, two female figures could be seen discussing with worry etched onto their faces. One of them was an elderly-looking woman having grey-white hair with a motherly aura around her allowing others to share their worries with her. She was Ishtar, the Great Goddess that maintains order in Olympus and also acts as the medium through which the other Gods and Goddesses draw their domain or the God powers and the one known to all as 'God-Mother'.

On the other hand, a young woman was having short red hair with warm, brown eyes and exudes a gentle and refined aura around her that would calm down even the most ferocious beasts. She is very beautiful and would have, no doubt, capture the hearts of many male Gods. Her most prominent trait is her bosom, which she shows much of(3). She was the Goddess of Seals, Ariadoa, and the one who summoned Seiya to Olympus in order to save the SS-ranked world, Ixphoria.

"Ishtar-sama, what are we going to tell Seiya about what happened while he was gone ?", Ariadoa could not hot hide the pain and sadness she felt when she thought about Seiya's home-world and his reaction when he learns about its fate.

"We have to tell him about it. We cannot keep such important news from him. It is his right to know. Moreover, he will most likely ask to return as soon as he comes back, and then we will not be able to hide this from him anyway.", Ishtar too did not like this feeling of guilt. She knows that she could not have stopped that event even if she knew about it beforehand as she was tied by the rules of the Divine Realm but still this did not stop her from blaming herself.

Both Ishtar and Ariadoa were sad, not because a world was destroyed as it was but a part of the natural cycle and before creation always comes destruction. No, they were sad for Seiya, after all, he had lost his home and his parents which, as they had seen for themselves, he yearned to return to, for every day during these past 10 years. Especially Ariadoa who remained beside him all the time, as an avatar (as they are not allowed to go there as gods) in Ixphoria while in her true form in Olympus, had spent these 10 years with Seiya during his journey of saving the world.

She did not know why but she felt attracted towards Seiya the moment she first saw him, in fact, even before when she was deciding about who would be summoned as the hero to save Ixphoria when she looked at Seiya's profile she felt that same attraction. She did not understand the reason behind it as she had guided many heroes before Seiya and they may have been even more accomplished or attractive than him but she only felt this type of attraction towards him alone as if there was a connection between them. They had come closer during these 10 years and, other than taking the final step, were a couple in all but name. They did not take the final step because Seiya wanted to marry her and bring her back with him to live as husband and wife where they would take that final step. (4)

Before she could ask any further, Ishtar raised her hand to stop her from speaking any further.

"His reawakening is complete and he is coming here looking for you.", Ishtar calmed her emotions bracing herself for the coming confrontation.

A few moments later, they heard footsteps coming towards the door and stopping right outside it. Just when they were about to call him, the door opened.

--Seiya POV--

-3 minutes earlier-

As I was outside the , making my way towards Ishtar-sama's tower, I was very excited at the thought of going back home and meeting my parents again. Plus, this time, I would not be alone as I will be taking my soon wife-to-be with me. I was also feeling a little sad at the thought of leaving this world where both Ariadoa and Ishtar-sama lived. Ishtar-sama was like a mother to me when my own mother was not there. Ariadoa will be going with me but it was here where we first met and I fell in love with her. I was the one who was the most surprised when she accepted my proposal to be my girlfriend. It took me a while to even react to her words, after all, this was the first time in my life that I confessed to a girl and she even accepted it, and on top of that someone as pure and beautiful as Ariadoa, who would have had many boys approach her. I mean I was not the most attractive person out there before my with average looks at best and she accepted my proposal back then.

Well, back to the matter at hand, this place really was special for me as when I was not completing my quests or fighting my enemies, I would be here with Ariadoa and I even go to know some young Gods here. Still, for me, I would still choose my parents over them, not because I don't love it here but it's just that I love my parents too much. Especially when I first came here, I was just homesick and if it were not for Ariadoa, I would have become a depressed and cynical bastard with suicidal tendencies, or at least I think so.

But as I was making my way towards Ishtar-sama's tower and my excitement died down a bit, a feeling of uneasiness and anxiety took place in my heart and as I advanced forward, this feeling started growing. This feeling was not foreign to him as I had experienced it many times before when something dreadful was about to happen. It was more of an instinct and it became even more powerful after my and it has even saved my life more than once, as such, I never doubt it. But why would this feeling come now when I am in Olympus. No one would attack me here nor would someone be willing to attack Olympus. Moreover, I felt that this feeling was more passive than active, i.e, unlike when I was under an attack, it was more of when something bad had occurred and by the feeling I was getting, I was sure as hell that I was not gonna like it. So without wasting any more time, headed straight towards Ishtar-sama's tower.

Arriving at the entrance of the tower, I quickly climbed the stairs and arrived at the door to Ishtar-sama's room but did not open it immediately. For the first time in my life, I was this nervous at the prospect of opening a door. I was not this nervous even when opening the door of the Demon General, the final boss of the SS-ranked world, Ixphoria. But I did not stop here for long and quickly mustered all the courage I could and opened the door.

Wow, almost 1600 words for the first chapter, not bad! But I don't know whether this would be the usual length of the chapters or not.

Anyway, I left points throughout the chapter in order to clear some doubts for them that some people may have. This is the problem when you try to create something for the first time, you don't know whether the people will get the whole picture with your explanation or not.

(1) Ether (not the medium of light) is basically 10 times more potent mana, which is present everywhere in the multiverse with the exception of a few special places known as 'Voids' where no life can ever be born, unlike mana which is present only in some worlds, i.e, about a million in each universe. This number while seems to be big is in fact very small when taking the scope of a universe into account. Moreover, ether can only be used by celestial beings while mortals can only get access to mana before completing their first baptism (not related to the story).

(2)The ranking of the world depends upon the level of difficulty in clearing it and the strength of the strongest threat level on the planet. The rankings are:

>SSS = Demon Marshal, Demon King, and above; Requires the action of a Great God-Level power

>SS = Demon General(all); Requires the action of a major fighting God-Level power

>S = Demon Brigadier; Requires the action major non-combatant God power

>A = Demon Colonel(all); Requires the action of a minor fighting God power

>B = Demon Major; Requires the action of a minor non-combatant God power

>C = Demon Captain; Requires the action of minor celestials (basically God-children)

>D = Demon Lieutenant; Requires no action from celestial level beings and the same for all those below

>E = Demon Officer Cadet

No idea if it will be used much in the story (MHA) or not but just for the info here they are.

(3) No she is not an exhibitionist, she is simply wearing clothes like a Greek Goddess. And yes she will be one of the female leads along with the other being decided by vote or my preference. For those non-harem readers, for me, harem means having more than 2 female leads and if you are upset with it then I suggest you stop reading here.

(4) For those complaining about the romance between a mortal and an immortal that will be dealt with later. Moreover, she would simply be using the avatar system again the difference being the situation has been reversed where she will take her true self with him to the mortal world leaving an avatar along with her celestial essence(a.k.a God powers) to the avatar herself to keep maintaining order.

Oh! Another thing! Do you know that final step to be taken? It was holding hands of course! Right ?.....

(5)(i) is simply like a data restorer which restores the data according to the core memory and data stored in the soul.

(ii) is a place where the souls of the Gods and the summoned Heroes are stored. As long as their soul is present here, they are immortal and the only way to truly kill them is using SSS ranked items.
