"You better behave if you don't want anything to happen to your cute friend here," said Shun threatening Gentarou.
"You coward!" Gentarou could not do anything else except gritting his teeth in anger. He wanted to beat that arrogant smirk of Shun, but his childhood friend safety came first.
"Let's continue this outside, so we don't bother the ladies here," said Shun as he exited the cafeteria with his lackeys and Yuuki as his hostage.
Shin, watching the incident happen, grinning ear to ear as he expected more exciting things to happen. But just as he wanted to follow them out, he felt a shiver. He turned his back as he tried to found the source of his sense tingling.
Not far from Shin and Seiji sat, Shin found a cute girl wearing gothic makeup looking at him. "Hey, Sei-chan. Do you see that girl with goth makeup? Who is she? She keeps looking at me weirdly."
Seiji turned his back to looked at who his master mentioned. After confirming the girl his master mentioned, he explained to his master, " Her name is Nozama Tomoko. She was suspected of having a heightened sixth sense. Maybe she is suspicious of you."
"Sixth sense? is she one of the branch family?" asked Shin. There were too many of his descendants that inherited one or many of his abilities. Some of them split up from the main family for many reasons, mainly different in ideology or simply married to another family. The family also had an actual division just to track his lineage.
"No, it is her natural talent."
"Oh, it's rare for a natural Awakened to appear nowadays in Japan." An Awakened is an individual that possesses supernatural abilities. Different from the superheroes that appeared in Japan. They usually got their powers from external sources.
"Find out about her more. If what you guys at DC suspect are true, then she is valuable," said Shun as he stood up from his chair.
"Ah, and you can do whatever you need to do, for now. I am going to have a walk for a little bit." He could not possibly let his little aide ruin his fun later on. So he dismissed Seiji and continued to look for where Gentarou and the rest went.
"Let me see, let me see, where they go?" Shin walked out of the cafeteria and went to the school's back where Gentarou, Shun, and Yuuki were. "Found 'em~."
As he arrived at the scene, he found Gentarou being held by two of Shun lackeys. "Almost miss the interesting part."
Shun then tackled Gentarou and made him flew a couple meters. As a veteran in street fighting, he did not bother so much by the tackle. He stood up immediately and mocked Shun. "Is that all ya got?"
"What did you say?!" Taunted by Gentarou's words, Shun planned to beat up Gentarou for good and ordered one of his lackeys to be a lookup "Miura, go and be a lookup."
"Yes, Daimonji-senpai!" Miura saluted to his captain as he went to be a lookup.
Miura, Shun follower, which is an errand boy of the American Football Club, ran from the area to alert the group if somebody was coming.
Without his knowledge inside shadow between the school building, Shin was lurking and smirking. "It's good that I decided to learn the art of invisibility from the Iga."
Shin then came out of the shadow and got closer to the scene. He nodded approvingly at how tough Gentarou was. It was not just a formidable appearance, but how unyielding his spirit was, one of the most important aspects a hero needs to have.
Not long after, Shin felt something wrong happened. There was some type of energy explosion near them. 'This energy, it's similar to that boy Kengo, but...feel more sinister. As if it is corrupted.'
As he thought of the possibilities, A cloud of black fog was getting near to them. Then, inside the black fog, something light. To be exact, the lights formed a formation that looked like a cluster of stars in the night sky, a constellation, Orion constellation.
"Stars?" Gentarou muttered in confusion, looking at the constellation slowly getting near them.
As the black fog was getting near them, the being inside it slowly revealed. It is a humanoid monster with red color, a blue pattern on its body, and large circles that make the Orion constellation. It slowly walked toward the crowd look very menacing.
"What the hell is that thing?!" Shouted Shun while panicking. He then felt hesitant and looking at Gentarou and the monster. He wanted to act bravely in front of his lackeys but decided to ran away as his safety was more important. He then ordered his club member to go as he said to them, "Let's go!"
Yuuki that was finally freed herself, still in shock, looking at the monster advance. As she was still frozen in place, shocked, the circles on the monster's body brightened up, gathering energies. Gentarou realized that something dangerous would happen to look at the light on the monster's body became more blinding. He then changed at Yuuki before they both fell to the side.
As he expected, the circles reached their critical point, and then a beam of light shot at where Yuuki standing before. As the beam hit the ground, it exploded. But, what they did not know, there was a thin layer of glass-like substance between them and the explosion. The glass-like substance was a barrier that Shin erected, so the blast did not directly harm both of them. But the impact from the blast still made them flew several meters.
Gentarou stood up with a bit of bruise while slightly confused as to why there was little to no damage caused by such an explosion. But, as the simple-minded person he was, he just brushed that thought to the back of his mind as he checked on Yuuki's condition. "Are you okay, Yuuki?!"
"I'm okay, Gen-chan. We need to run away!"
"It's okay. I will deal with it!" He said with a reassuring smile on his face. He looked around the place and found a pile of iron pipes. He picked one and charged at the monster. "Oraaaaaaa!"
He smacked at the monster with an iron pipe in his hand. But to his bewilderment, it had no effect whatsoever on the monster. Instead, he felt pain and a numbing sensation on his hand, realizing how hard the monster's body was. He did not give up as he swung the iron pipe at the monster again. But this time, the monster caught the iron pipe and stole it from Gentarou's hand before bend it to half effortlessly.
Gentarou saw it and froze with disbelieve and despair on his face. "Eeehhhhh, seriously?!"
The monster then punched Gentarou on his stomach, sent him flying to the school building wall. After hitting the wall, Gentarou lost his consciousness.
Yuuki saw her childhood friend pass out could only screaming at him, "Gen-chan!"
After sending Gentarou flew, the monster slowly gathered energy on its body again. Yuuki felt helpless as she saw the circles on the monster's body lighten up again with despair on her face.
Shin was looking at the fight shaking his head as he felt a headache coming. He thought that he needed to teach Gentarou some senses as not charging at enemies thoughtlessly. But he sensed something approaching them, and it made a slight shock appeared on his face. Shin then felt the energy within the circle nearing its critical point and planned to erect another barrier in front of Yuuki.
