Mustapha knew there was nothing else to be done at the moment, not that he really cared.
He wanted them to get over with the whole judgment so he could get his punishment peacefully. He had a brother to protect and a mother to hunt, and with what was going on, he could not do that, unless the judgment had been delivered.
Frankly, he preferred being a fugitive on the run than a good prisoner who was just going to be tossed here and there.
No one knew Zarinah more than he did, not that he would tell them that at this moment. they still needed to be reassured that he was not going to do anything stupid, but stupid decisions that protected his baby brother were all that the great Mustafa knew how to do.
He understood that the supernatural world was not going to be offering him any forgiveness packages, not that he expected any. Maybe if he gave them something in good faith they would let him be, but then again, good faith and Mustafa and his evil mother was just not possible.
