When Bai Zhi woke up early the next morning, she found it was snowing outside.
The snow had started at some unknown time, and it was falling gently, covering the ground with a thick layer.
She still didn't make breakfast for herself, and after putting on her down jacket, she headed downstairs. Many pedestrians were carrying umbrellas, but Bai Zhi didn't bring one and didn't wear a hat. She loved the cold sensation of snowflakes falling on her cheeks.
She bought a rice ball from a small stall in front of the subway station and put it in her bag.
After leaving the subway station, she bought a cup of hot soy milk at a small shop. When she came out of the shop, she realized that although it was snowing, there seemed to be something different about the street today, but she couldn't quite put her finger on what it was.
After arriving at the company, Bai Zhi turned on her computer while sipping her soy milk, and then watched a colleague walk in with a huge bouquet of roses.
