Somewhere in a forest rich area, a building stood with metal walls surrounding it from all sides with towers flashing search lights around their area. The area inside was one kilometre wide with various military buildings with patrolling soldiers and vehicles, such as tanks, jeeps with guns on their roof, transport trucks and some air units above.
The largest building was pure white with a radio dish on the top and a signal tower on the back side of it. It was midnight and the only sound was heard were the patrols making their rounds and soldiers speaking to one another. Meanwhile inside the building an experiment was currently being done. In one of its hallways, was a group of people with papers and boards on their hands while watching on the see through glass in front of them while some flashes of light covered their face, some of them had whispered discussion amongst one another while one stood out as they were the only one not closed in the the group.
The person focused on the other side of the glass watching as the robotic arms moved forward and sent sparks to the experiment once it contacted it. The experiment was a carapace with design like someone's intestines where drawn and sculpted, it was contracting and detracting as if it was breathing. The electric current that was sent, managed to make it shiver a little but no other reaction was seen or noted. 'The above said that it was found on a capsule in the bottom of the pacific? The reports stated that the submarine near there detected seismic movement of some kind.' The person thought to themself before raising their hand and rubbing their chin. Their hand was aged, filled with wrinkles that came with someone aged in their lifetime.
The experiment on the stainless metal table suddenly twitched and its contractions stopped. Fearing for the worst if something went wrong, the person quickly ordered through a speaker on the wall. "Stop!!! The Subject has cease its contraction, furthermore shocks may cause the subject to perish or cause damage to anything on the inside!!!" The group of people murmured in agreement while some began to look at the papers they held and started to write on it.
"Send some people to check! We cannot lose the subject…On second thought, prepare a suit for me, I will personally check on the subject." The person thought for a second before giving the order and walking away from the glass and down the hallway before making a couple of rights and stopping in front of a door. It had a screen on the side with a keypad on its screen. It was a security lock with the passcode that randomly switches on a 3 hour randomly generated combination as the 1st layer and a voice recognition system, the second and the last layer a retinal scan before you can open the door.
The person looked towards the keypad before pressing the designated code and entering it. The keypad turned green and a second screen switched with the first with a steady line showing with a huge blue ball on top of the pad. "Professor James S. Holmes, Security Access Alpha 1 Zeta 30 Foxtrott 41." Prof. Holmes gave the security access given to him by his superiors. His gruff voice sounded like sandpaper scratching on wood a little before he coughed into a handkerchief he had on his left hand. The pad turned green before a hole opened up on the area of an average person's height as a camera was on the wall. James moved his head and opened his right eye as wide as he could. His golden brown eye stared directly at the camera and not long the pad turned green before returning to the keypad. The door in front of him made a sound of mechanisms moving before a loud click was heard on the other side. James held on the door knob before twisting it and opening it, inside was filled with computers and a glass that separates the other side of the room. On the right side of the room was a sealed door on both sides.
James removed his lab coat before removing his tie and heading towards a rack that had white hazmat suits. Once worn, he entered the secondary room and waited a second while the door he entered shut itself before repressurizing the room he was in. The door in front of him clicked and slid to the side, James moved into the white room and from the side was the see through glass with the group of researchers and scientist still carefully watching.
Beside the stainless steel table was a platform connected to it by an extended arm filled with equipment for surgical operations. James walked towards the table, not forgetting in grabbing an electric rod, once he stood over the subject did he point the rod to it before suddenly stabbing it forwards and sending a small electric current into it. It twitched and moved but no other movement. James sighed to himself before letting go of the rod and reached towards the surgical tools. He grabbed a scalpel and began to slice a small opening to it.
Suddenly the subject jumped into his suit's visor and grabbed hold of it. James screamed in surprise and fear at the sudden action before he twirled his body around while trying to grab the rod he dropped somewhere. The room turned red as an alarm echoed into his ears and a muffled voice that repeated the same sentence. The subject's underbelly opened up revealing a stinger-like appendage that had a mouth part on its pointed edge and like lightning thrusted forward breaking through the bulletproof visor and injected its tip into his forehead. 'No!!!' James shouted in his mind before he felt the world turn and his vision blackening. With no strength or coordination of his nerves, his body soon fell to the floor back first while the subject still stuck to his head like super glue. "Help…me…" With a weak voice and all the strength he could muster, said his final words before everything turned black.
