Sarina's POV
The rest of the day went smoothly for Sarina and instead of going to the hospital after school like she had planned she went home and kept arguing back and forth with Edward in her head. He decided to leave home for some reason and she knew how his family were going to take the news so she tried her best to talk him out of it to no avail. As it got later the rain and wind grew worse and worse. Sarina sighed as she got up and took a shower putting on some pajamas then curled up in bed listening to music until she was lulled to sleep.
Jasper's POV
Jasper was hunting alone to clear his head and get ready for school the next day. He sighed as he started to get soaked. He ran until he was a few minutes outside of town but still in the woods when he noticed a house. Jasper stopped running when he smelled her scent. He looked around the jumped into a nearby tree staring into a window. Jasper smiled when he saw her sleeping, that is until he saw the frightened look on her face. She started tossing and even screamed once. He froze waiting for someone to come check on her but nobody showed. Jasper let out a relieved sigh then quietly opened her window to hear if she said anything. Sarina was mumbling unintelligible words and then her arm came up to cover her face and Jasper's face sank when he noticed the bite mark on her arm. "She- She was bitten? Why wasn't she more scared of us then?" he wondered allowed and jumped back as she flicked a light on looking straight into his eyes. "Because I have visions remember? I know you won't hurt me." Sarina said sitting up then looked down at her arm shivering slightly. "I'm sorry you had to go through that...I really think you need to see Carlisle.." he said and she nodded in agreement looking towards the window then back to him. "I should head back home..." he said but he hated having to leave. Sarina nodded still half-asleep. Jasper jumped out the window smirking when he heard the faint gasp from Sarina before he ran off going straight back home. Alice was waiting for him a knowing look in her eyes. He rolled his eyes and then jumped to the window leading to his room and plopped on the couch turning on his TV. Jasper never felt this way for anyone. He hated leaving her but also hated being around her because of the fear he'd seriously hurt her.
Sarina's POV
The rest of that week went by well. Sarina spoke to Jasper in class but other than that she never saw him and never knew when she'd get the chance to see Carlisle in person. She walked into Friday realizing Edward was back. 'Welcome home..' she thought towards him and saw him grin over at her then headed to his siblings. Jasper's thoughts were grim so she looked over at him and shook her head. 'Don't...please you can't.' she thought desperately knowing he couldn't hear her. Edward glared towards Jasper but then left to go to class. Sarina grabbed her book out of her locker and headed to class. She sat in her usual seat and stared out the window. Jasper looked over at her wondering what she was thinking about. He sighed making her glance back at him. "What are you thinking about?" he asked and she looked down at the table. "Um...well..you." she said quietly but he heard her and he couldn't help but smile because he had been thinking about her nonstop since they met. "You can't hurt her...you know that right?" Sarina said making Jasper sigh but he nodded looking down at the table. "Yeah...I guess you're right." he said and she rolled her eyes nudging her arm with his but pulled away quickly when she felt a spark pass between them. "You know I'm right." she said but Jasper sat there frozen. He was shocked that she had touched him and even more shocked that he had enjoyed it. He found himself not even thirsty around her anymore. Sarina looked over at him evaluating the look on his face before smiling slightly relieved he didn't seem angry and the hungry-pained expression was gone from his eyes. She gently touched his hand looking away again. Jasper saw the faint blush on her cheeks making his frozen heart skip a beat and his voice catch in his throat. The bell rang and Jasper got up but instead of leaving as fast as he could like he'd been doing, he stayed there waiting for her and everyone stared at them strangely. Sarina grabbed her stuff and got up as Alice walked into the class. She was having a vision and gave Jasper a small smirk before going to her seat. Sarina gave her a confused frown but walked out heading towards the gym. Jasper rolled his eyes at his sister and followed her. "Wait! I wanted to tell you...Carlisle wants you to come over this weekend...he really wants to meet you." he said nervously. He hated the thought of her in the house full of vampires and he knew how Rose felt about all this..especially with what was going on with Edward, the 0je who was supposed be in the most control...well other than Carlisle. Sarina froze turning to look up at him fear obvious in her eyes. "Like to your house?" she asked and groaned inwardly when he nodded. "Yeah...don't we won't let anything happen to you." he said grinning at her. "I know...I just am nervous meeting all of them..at once." she said. Sarina knew that something was happening between them and she figured his family noticed too, especially Alice and Edward who knew what they were thinking and could see what would happen between them.
