After a bit longer he finally found the one book he had been keeping an eye out for all this time. It was large and black with black chains wrapped all around it. "Old man, what this chained up book for? Is it forbidden or something?"
Gu Xuan who had been following close behind glanced at the book he was referring to and said "Ah, that book, no, it's not forbidden or anything like that. I don't even know what level of technique it is or what the book even contains. I only know that it emanates a strange power. I found it by chance in my travels but since I couldn't break the chains I left it down here."
Yuji grinned hearing the description because this was the book he had been looking for. "To be able to repel you, old man whatever is in here must be amazing. This book feels like it's calling out to me, I want to see what will happen."
"Whenever I touched it nothing happened so knock yourself out." Gu Xuan replied.
He didn't think that anything would happen if Yuji tried since even he didn't get a reaction when he did that's why he allowed it.
Meanwhile, Yuji, knowing what would happen needed to warn Cliona. 'Cliona, whatever happens, don't leave my body. I'm going to inherit another bloodline which will hurt a lot. The original owner of it will be watching over my body and I don't want to risk you getting hurt because considering how powerful he is he might be able to tell you're a demon, so please trust me and stay inside me. This one isn't life-threatening like my Origin Source incident from earlier so don't worry okay?'
'Alright, since it's just pain and you aren't at risk of dying like before it's okay, but don't pass out this time because we barely have any origin energy left to use to heal you. We used most of it from your inner world to heal you earlier and I used up everything that we had in the tattoo to keep you alive.'
'Sure. Oh, and before I forget, you'll need to give me some time to prepare it, but I'm going to make it up to you for worrying you earlier.'

Yuji moved to the book and as soon as he touched the chains he felt something on his neck burning up. He looked down and saw it was his grandfather's inheritance, the necklace with the red stone on it.
The chains on the book began to shift loosening their hold on the book.
*CREAK* *CREAK*
Gu Xuan who saw this was shocked. The book never reacted in any way when he touched it but here it was unchaining itself to his student who simply touched it once.
Meanwhile, the book opened to reveal a clear white page. It shone with a dazzling white light that covered the room, propelling Gu Xuan out of the Pagoda at the same time.
Keep in mind Gu Xuan is almost strong enough to rule a high ranking star in the Divine Realm so he is terrifyingly powerful and yet he was easily thrown out of the pagoda by a simple light.
Gu Xuan was outside of the tower now watching as a barrier was erected to keep him out.
At the same time, in the building, Yuji was standing in front of the ethereal figure of a man who suddenly appeared from the book.
The man looked to be in his mid 20's with royalty type clothing. Coupled with his shocking good looks the majestic aura emanated off of him was awe-inspiring.
He looked over Yuji's body for a bit and his eyes widen in shock as he said to himself. "Ancient Yang Body and 2 bloodlines that even I am unable to see through...this...this is amazing..."
"Umm...excuse me, but who might you be?" Feigning ignorance, Yuji asked for the man's identity.
"Ah, sorry for the late introduction. I am the Sage God, one of the 5 most powerful gods in the past. I left a wisp of my soul in this book for someone with the right qualifications to one day find it and inherit my legacy.
You managed to do so, so you have earned the right to inherit my powers and I dare say if you do you will become the most powerful True God in future with enough time. I cannot see through your 2 bloodlines which can only mean that their power is above my own currently. Already having such powers you have no reason to inherit my own so you are free to deny it if you so wish. Although, I do wish that you will." The Sage God said.
If anyone from the God Realm heard of the Sage Gods appearance to choose a successor they would puke out blood from the shock and instantly jump at the chance once they recovered.
"Sir Sage God, all I did was touch the book, I don't think I did anything to deserve inheriting your power." Yuji acted humble to give a good impression to the man so he wouldn't see him as a simply power-hunger...even though he was.
At Yuji's reply, a faint smile stretched across the Sage God's face. "You must not misunderstand young man. To inherit my powers you require three things. Firstly, a special key which will allow you to gain access to the book. Second, once I emerge from the book I will check the potential of whoever has opened the book. Lastly is character. You have fulfilled all three.
You have the key which is around your neck and you already possess heaven-defying talent along with bloodlines so powerful even I who was once a True God cannot see through them. Lastly, you being able to deny my legacy because you feel you do not deserve it proves your character so I have not blindly chosen you, young man. My proposal to have you inherit my power was the test of character because any other person would have jumped at the chance without considering what exactly they had done to deserve it as I had said." The Sage God explained.
"I understand Sir Sage God, so what is this stone? As far as I was concerned it was just a family heirloom." Yuji said still feigning ignorance as he looked down at the red crystal by his neck
Pointing to the necklace, the Sage God answered. "That is the Fire crystal which is one of my eight element crystals namely: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Lightning, Light, Darkness and Dimension. At the time when I was extracting my power to form them which is a delicate process, I was interrupted causing me to lose control. Thankfully, I managed to seal most of the crystals within this book but a few were scattered across the world."
"I never expected that I had something so valuable with me." Yuji replied calmly but his thoughts betrayed him. 'Most are sealed in the book already?! I don't know what changed from the original timeline but I like this!'
"Young man, I am running out of time, so do you accept my legacy?" The Sage God said anxiously since he didn't want to lose such a good successor.
Considering how talented Yuji was already he knew he would have to wait a very long time before someone that could come close to his talent would show up, if they even do.
" I accept, Ancestor. "Yuji replied with a smile.
Hearing his answer a look of relief washed across the Sage God's face as he materialised a drop of blood from his hand. "Thank you, Young man. This drop of blood has been purified for millions of years to make it so it cannot be destroyed by anyone. Considering you are still weak it may be a lot of pain, during which it will replace all the veins and meridians in your body with my own. Good Luck, my Successor!" He said as he pushed the blood into Yuji's chest.
Rather than being destroyed and built anew to only accommodate a single bloodline, Yuji knew that because of his Dark And Light Primordial Chaos bloodline the two sets of veins will be forcefully fused to create a new set of veins with all his bloodlines characteristics.
As the drop of blood sank into his body, almost instantly Yuji felt as if his veins were being melted down and felt that to the molten solution a new power was being added.
His whole body was assaulted with pain. He felt as if he was burning alive and being slowly dissected into millions of pieces then put back together and the process was repeated over and over.
He soon couldn't hold back and started screaming in pain as he fell to the floor while clutching his chest.
Gu Xuan was currently outside using about 80% of his power to try to break the barrier to be by Yuji's side for whatever is going on inside but the barrier wouldn't even get a scratch on itself even after attacking it so much.
He was really worried about Yuji because he just found a student with extraordinary potential, he would be distraught if he lost him before he could teach him anything because he would most likely never find another person with such amazing potential even in his next life.
Then he heard it. "AAAARRRGGGGHH" Yuji screamed out from inside the Pagoda.
Gu Xuan's attacks paused hearing that his fear was coming true. 'Brat just hold on!' He thought to himself in panic as he began charging up his power.
Yuji was in trouble inside the building. He couldn't waste any more time so he immediately used the most powerful technique in his arsenal at 100%.
The whole planet shook as the old man released his attack filled with extremely powerful energy. The explosion could be heard hundreds of thousands of miles away.
The whole area was covered in dust.
Once the dust finally dispersed the barrier did not even have a scratch on it. Gu Xuan could only sigh helplessly and pray that nothing too bad would happen to his only student.
After 2 hours of intense pain and screams, the process finally finished.
Sweating profusely on the ground was Yuji who had an exhausted expression on his face as he tried catching his breath.
Thanks to Cliona who was using whatever little origin energy that they had left within his inner world to heal him, Yuji's mind became clearer and his expression softened with each breath.
"Young man you have managed to inherit my power and I feel that somehow it has changed and become even stronger which was probably due to your bloodlines influence. Although it is currently not complete, once you find the remaining crystals, along with the ones I have sealed within the book you will have completed it. Where to find them will depend on your luck and as for those I sealed in the book, you will have to reach a certain strength to take them out for yourself. Cultivation techniques suited to your new body are in this book. My time is up Young one. Live well and grow strong." The Sage God said as his body faded away.

'How are you feeling, Yuji?' Cliona asked
'Like shit, but it was worth it. I can feel that I can finally use my light and darkness powers, and I can sense profound energy in the air.'
'Oh yeah, those bloodline powers of yours, I forgot you had them. Anyway, we should leave here soon because the old man's been struggling to tear down the barrier that's keeping him out.'
