Keira clung tightly to her mother's neck, as if she understood what her mother intended to do.
She was scared, burying her head in her mother's shoulder, her tears falling silently.
Keira's mother, in despair, her eyes full of tears, walked step by step to the edge.
Keira felt her mother trembling continuously, she tried to keep her childish voice calm while trembling with her, "Mom, are you very cold? I'll hold you tight, are you still cold?"
Keira's mother stopped there, unable to take another step forward.
Keira said again, "Mom, I'll hold you, over there, we won't be cold anymore."
Keira's mother finally couldn't bear it anymore, squatting at the bridgehead with her daughter in her arms, howling and crying, releasing all the pressure upon her.
She gave up the idea of dying with her daughter, then returned to the rented small room.
That bad man came looking for her and promised not to hurt Keira anymore.
