Tiana Thorne glanced sideways, feeling something tugging at her heart, and then it gently stirred.
May Sloane said, "I'll go open the door."
"Okay."
Afterwards, May ran over and opened the door, seeing Sean Thorne standing there looking very weathered. She was taken aback and softly called, "Uncle."
Hearing the voice, Tiana immediately turned her head and saw her father standing at the door, looking quite downcast.
Ignoring the pain in her foot, she quickly walked over and invited him in, "Dad."
May looked at the current situation, feeling that her presence might be inappropriate, that she should give them some time to talk, gently pursed her lips, "Tiana, I'll go out for a bit. Call me if you need anything."
"Alright."
Then May left, closing the door behind the father and daughter.
Tiana led her father to the sofa to sit down.
