Back on Day-29, when Sylla joined Orion Vanguard, Jay learned about her second talent, a Unique-category one.
It was a purely auxiliary talent with no combat capabilities whatsoever. However, it excelled at one particular aspect; finding valuables.
The catch was that required something of equivalent value to be offered as collateral.

The moment Jay learned about the talent, he immediately realized that its true value would only be fully displayed within the Bloodline Realm.
Because of that, he made Sylla a Minor Sigil Holder, hoping he would be able to access and use the Unique Talent through the Origin Sigil.
Fortunately, it worked. That also confirmed that the talent's rarity was lower than Dante's talent, which Jay had been unable to assign a sigil to in the first place.
To Jay, that was actually good news.
If Sylla's talent had been just as rare, he wouldn't have been able to use it himself and would have been forced to rely entirely on Sylla.
And within the Bloodline Realm, that simply wasn't an option. She was on the 5th Orbital Belt, far beyond his reach.
Having yet to test it himself, Jay decided to experiment first. Instead of using the 6-Star Exotic Treasure as collateral, he selected a 3-Star one.
With the treasure in hand, he activated the talent and focused his thoughts.
A moment later, a notification screen appeared before him. It requested several inputs before the covenant could be established.

Although Jay had never used it himself, synchronizing with Sylla's talent had given him a clear understanding of how it worked.
For the search range, he selected one thousand kilometers since this was only a simple test.
The next option was Target Specification. This was a feature Sylla had only gained after unlocking her 5th Exclusive Skill.
It allowed the target of the covenant to be specified down to an exact type.
Before obtaining that skill, the talent would simply locate anything of equivalent value to the collateral, making the results unpredictable.
Now, however, the search could be directed toward a specific type of treasure.
Without hesitation, Jay specified the target as Exotic Treasures. The moment he finished, a final confirmation screen appeared before him.
Along with the covenant details, it also displayed the penalties that would be imposed should the covenant fail.
