Jay walked over to a chair and sat down casually. He gestured for the two of them to sit as well.
After they sat, Jay looked at Drogor and asked, "Do you remember what you said the last time we met in the Virtual Duel Arena?"
Drogor was caught off guard, but he gave an embarrassed smile and replied.
"Ahem… I remember clearly. I said if you defeat me in the final tournament, I'll become your subordinate, and vice versa."
Jay raised an eyebrow slightly.
"Do you think you can defeat me? or would you like to give it a try right now?"
Drogor stayed silent for a moment. He had no hope of defeating Jay. Even with three months in the Bloodline Realm, turning things around didn't seem possible.
After all, Jay had the same three months ahead of him and would only grow stronger. Drogor believed that once Jay obtained a Bloodline, he would become even more unstoppable.
Drogor let out a resigned sigh and said firmly, "I admit I am no match for you, Jay. As a Dragnoid Clan member, I stand by my word. I will serve as your subordinate, but I won't do anything that harms my clan."
Jay crossed one leg over the other and rested his hands on his knee.
"You don't have to worry. I won't make you do anything that harms your clan. Join Orion Vanguard as a Core Circle member and fulfill your duties. That's all. If you want, I can make you a Sigil Holder. You should know the benefits," he said in a calm voice.
Drogor nodded, feeling a bit relieved. He glanced at Idran, about to speak, but Idran cut in.
"You've already made it clear that your arrangement with the Cipher Guild isn't a long-term commitment. You don't need my permission, Drogor. I'll respect your decision regardless. Besides….. I don't think we need to part ways."
Drogor frowned slightly, not understanding what he meant.
With a knowing smile, Idran turned to Jay and asked, "Mr. Jay, is there a place for the Cipher Guild in Orion Vanguard?"
Drogor was stunned. Even Jay showed a brief look of surprise. He had expected some form of collaboration, but not this.
Jay said, "There's room for your guild, but are you certain? Once you join, your guild will become a sub-faction like the rest, and all your members will be answerable to me."
Idran showed no hesitation and nodded in affirmation.
"I've already made my decision. There's nothing more to consider. All that remains is whether you're willing to accept us."
