Vivian Bell looked at her mother and said, "Mom... Actually, there are some things I've never told you."
"What?" Vivian's mother looked at her warily.
Summoning her courage, Vivian said, "Felix Rhodes... is Julian's brother. Although I'm with him now, his family might not necessarily approve of me. I didn't mention it when we weren't together, but now that we are, I wanted to tell you in advance."
She felt like her mother had too high expectations for her and Felix Rhodes.
