Jonah Morgan closed the car door, and Scarlett Xavier heard the sound, looked up at him, and gave a sweet smile that warmed his heart.
He walked up to Scarlett and heard his voice sound a bit tense, "Why are you here?"
"We're going back to Ardendale, so before leaving, I came by to see you." Scarlett looked at Jonah, asking, "How have you been lately?"
Jonah listened to her words and said, "Alright."
These days, his heart had been deeply tormented, afraid of many things, yet now seeing her in front of him, it felt like a sudden revelation.
She hadn't completely ignored him.
Scarlett said, "I saw your name in the news recently."
Jonah replied, "Recently, I did a few boring interviews, arranged by the company; you saw them, huh."
He felt a bit flattered.
Scarlett nodded, "I saw them. You're really impressive."
Jonah originally thought the work was quite boring, but hearing Scarlett's praise made him much happier.
He looked at Scarlett and said, "Thank you."
