Kane is one of the calm types; she shifted her gaze from the man to the shelf nearby.
The bathroom is quite large, with three white bottles that look similar. Even with good eyesight, Kane couldn't tell which was which.
She didn't plan to go over, "You bring them here."
"Having me bring over three such big bottles—what if my towel falls off?" Jace responded lazily.
Kane paused for a few seconds, then walked over, "Such a nuisance."
Jace ultimately found himself dismissed.
Kane walked to the shelf and examined the labels on the bottles, "You don't know French?"
"Why should I?" Jace retorted.
"A rich young man like you should be fluent in several languages, right?" Kane said lightly.
"That's wrong," Jace chuckled, correcting her, "People like us are unlearned and uncultured, we just throw money at problems."
Kane wasn't quite convinced.
