Mike woke up after receiving some treatment, he was happy despite losing the fight. Mike felt he gained a lot from the battle. He walked to Luke their were still some battles going on while the stage on which Mike fought with Luke and destroyed was been repaired. He went to Luke, I want to meet your leader. Luke took Mike to Sam and introduce them, Mike I enjoyed your fight you lacked experience and a good weapon technique I can give you both and many more but you have to follow the rules of the group and do whatever I ask of you. Sam asked him yo ho think of it and come back, Mike was confused he looked at Sam but Sam was speaking to Vera and Steve on the strategies they can employ to win. Vera you could use Mikes strategy, Mike listened to what Sam was telling Vera and was surprised how could he have come up with such strategy? Is this no longer Sam the weakest of year three? Sam left with Luke, once he thought he was out of range to be heard by Sam he asked Luke, how can you be under Sam? Is he no longer weak? Luke almost choked on his saliva, he knew Sam could still hear them. Luke turned to Mike as foe being strong you would have the chance yo judge for yourself if he is still weak, all i can tell you is the improvement in my techniques are all because of him. As they spoke veras group was called Vera picked up the sword Sam bought for her and floated up the stage on a piece of ice. Sam shouted remember all we discussed do not continue the fight if hour life is in danger. Vera went up the stage and waited suddenly the fight started two four people ganged up on Vera she had already learnt level two of her sword technique but she wasn't as prolificent in weapon as others in the group so immediately she condensed ice swords to surround her just like the way Mike used his trees but she had to control it her self unlike Mike whose trees move of their own she she defended against the four students some came with power others with speed but non could get past her defence. After a while she condenced a shield and knocked them out of the stage with it. Once she did she looked up to see that their were only two other people with her on stage and they were quite strong one of those control sand while the other control metal Sam knew this battle will be tough for Vera but it was a cultivation world she needed to go through such things. The sand element student controlled the sand wanting to blast Vera off the stage Vera quickly condensed a thick ice shield and protected herself. Suddenly the sand blast stopped, the sand elemental user was off the stage Vera was confused what had happened. But Sam saw every thing while the student was concentrated on Vera the metal using student knocked her out of the stage. She was fuming on the ground but the rules were the rules.
The metal user turned to Vera and smirked you are next, he condensed an iron staff and fused at Vera, vera had to float on a piece of ice as metals kept protruding out of the stage at random points. When Vera attacked with her ice swords he easily destroyed it, Vera was at a loose ice was weaker against metal she had to do something I have to be everywhere to win and I don't yet have a movement technique. Vera immediately caused snow to fall. But the metal student joked her you are only good at changing the weather and nothing else, he rushed at Vera but she was like a tortoise always behind her thick and rotating shield. Suddenly the metal student noticed something the visibility became poor he couldn't see more than ten feet in front of him and that was decreasing also with time. Unknown to him Vera was forming a block of ice behind him the ice was very thick and huge. She froze the stage and also the ground making every were slippery. It could be said she changed the terrain to suit her. The metal student was having a hard time maintaining his balance. Vera rushed at him trying to slash him with sword, he blocked the sword still running his mouth then suddenly he felt a heavy blow to his body he was sent flying and pinned under the huge ice. Two second latter the snow cleared and the metal user was seen on the iced ground pinned.
Sam turned to Steve what do you think of these fight, steve said this is a fight of elements. Sam nodded you are right fight involving elements has the tendency to end faster and is more dangerous. It also shows no element is absolute it depends on the user and experience. If before today you were gold ice will come up victorious over metal would you have believed. Steve shook his head, that is a wake up call for you to cultivate harder or only your weapon won't save you in some occasions Sam and Steve went forward to congratulate Vera. The metal guy came forward fuming wanting to continue the fight as he sent a punch towards Vera Sam caught his hand and the next thing people heard the breaking of bones. Haaaaa the metal guy screamed Sam looked at him meet me at the underground fighting club by evening tomorrow or you will answer for attacking my fiance. The student was shaken before Sam could say more his group was called and he had to leave Vera and walk up the stage
