Typhon's voice carried open disdain as they walked through the capital of Dawnstar, his gaze sweeping across the surroundings with thinly veiled irritation covered behind mask. Every street, every crumbling structure, and every desperate face seemed to reinforce his opinion that this place was beyond saving.
Emery did not answer.
Klea did.
"It just means there's more to be done," she said calmly, her tone steady and unbothered.
Typhon scoffed under his breath, clearly unable to relate. As a hybrid who preferred raw, untouched environments, he found Dawnstar's civilization to be a distortion of what the world should be. And the deeper they walked into the city, the more his expression darkened.
