Myra walked into the classroom and browsed around the students to see who to sit with now that Naruto was no longer there. She had to go and stop by the Hokage tower because Hiruzen wanted to tell her that her picture dressed as a Daifuku was not acceptable, something that shocked and offended her. Still sour over the fact that she had to retake the picture, Myra wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone. But then her eyes fell upon the blond and widened slightly. She hurried toward him, practically shoving Uchiha Sasuke aside until she reached the other Jinchuriki.
"Naruto! You made it!" Myra exclaimed, shocked at the sight of the blue forehead protector that was around his forehead.
"When did that happen? Did you get the Clone Jutsu right? I told you Iruka Sensei would give you another chance ... Tell me everything!"
"Oh, Myra-Chan, you won't believe what happened last night .." Naruto started but his words were cut off when there was a loud scramble down the hallway outside the classroom as Ino and Sakura got stuck in the doorway and shouted ,
"Goal!"
"I win again, Sakura," Ino said. Myra turned around to look at them, wondering what in the world the two of them were talking about now. Was this a new symptom of the Sasuke Disease the two of them were carrying?
"What are you talking about?" Sakura retorted immediately.
"My toe entered the class before yours by a centimeter. Are you blind?"
"Sakura-Chan's looking at me," Naruto mumbled to Myra, blushing and younger girl looked between the two before noticing the empty place between Naruto and Sasuke. Sakura wasn't looking at Naruto.
"She's not ..." Myra trailed off as Sakura hurried over to where the two of them were standing, hoping to get to the seat next to Sasuke before anyone else came by.
"Good morning, Sakura-Chan!" Naruto went to greet but was shoved clean off his feet out of the way by the older pink-haired girl. Myra sighed.
"Get out of my way!" Sakura told him before turning to Sasuke.
"Good morning, Sasuke-Kun," He looked at her and looked away. As expected of the male.
"Can I sit next to you?"
"Hey! I'm going to sit next to him," Ino said as she appeared next to Sakura, Myra and Naruto. Myra noticed other girls approaching the area as well.
"First come, first serve," Sakura replied.
"I came into the classroom before you!" Ino exclaimed.
"I did!" Sakura disagreed.
"If that's the case, I did," Soon a crowd of girls began to gather around them and Myra, who hated small spaces, tried to move away from them all.
"Watch it!" Myra said as she was being constantly pushed around.
"At least let me get out of this fuss!" Instead of receiving any help from Naruto, the blond himself got into the crowd.
"Stop pushing!" There was one great push at Myra and she almost fell over but she grabbed Naruto's jersey, using the force of the pull to send her back onto her feet.
However, it didn't end up so well for Naruto, who tripped over his feet and landed onto the desk, his lips hitting Uchiha Sasuke's.
Everyone froze in their places. Myra, Naruto, Sasuke, all of the fangirls and even the rest of the students in the classroom as they watched in shock at what had just happened in front of their very eyes.
Then, Myra snatched Naruto back from Sasuke.
"You're doomed, Naruto! You're DOOMED, Usa!" Myra shouted at Naruto as she shook him back and forth.
"You're going to contract that disease and die! You made actual contact! It was nice knowing you, Naruto!" Myra quickly let go of Naruto when she saw that the rest of the girls had turned into demons, edging closer and closer toward Naruto, ready to beat him up for taking the first kiss. She moved out of the way and into the back of the room, not wanting to be a part of this experience. Once the girls were done with him, Naruto was almost unrecognisable. Myra picked his frail body up and put it next to Sasuke and Sakura before sitting down next to him as Iruka arrived in the classroom.
Myra was glad that she wasn't all beat up.
"Starting today, you are all official ninjas, but ..." Iruka announced.
"You all are still new Genins. It's going to get harder from here. You all will be in groups of three or four, where you will accomplish missions under a Jonin teacher,"
"I wonder who's going to be in Sasuke-Kun's team , "Ino said. She was sitting behind them and doing everything to annoy the heck out of Sakura.
"I don't know," Sakura said but it was obvious to Myra what the older girl was really thinking. Myra wondered who she wanted to be in a group with. Naruto? And someone else, whoever.
"We've arranged the groups such that overall abilities are equivalent," Iruka informed them all.
"I will now announce them," He held up the team sheet. Myra waited with interest.
**time skip**
"Next, seventh group," Iruka called out. "Uzumaki Naruto, Otsutsuki Myra," Naruto and Myra cheered. "Haruno Sakura," Naruto cheered again while Myra smiled. She didn't mind Sakura being in the same group.
"I 'm with Naruto ...? "Sakura asked as her head dropped. She clearly did not want to be with the' Village's Idiot. Myra could understand but didn't care. She was happy that she got paired with her best friend. "And Uchiha Sasuke," Iruka called out. This time, Naruto's head dropped, Myra looked surprised and Sakura cheered happily.
"I'm with Sasuke ...?" Naruto asked his head dropped lower. Myra wondered what would become of them as a team of four plus a Jonin.
"Next, the 8th group," Iruka called out.
"Hyuga Hinata," "Y-Yes," Hinata called.
"Inuzuka Kiba," Iruka continued.
"And Aburame Shino," Sakura turned around in her seat to give Ino a peace sign, her expression extremely smug.
"Why do you get to be with him?" Ino said.
"Why do girls like such a guy anyway?" Shikamaru muttered.
"Don't you even know that, Shikamaru?" Ino said to the boy.
"I'm not a girl," Shikamaru told her bluntly.
"That's why you're not popular," Ino said.
"I wouldn't want to team up with a guy like you," Myra looked at her in surprise. That's unfortunate, that Ino doesn't realize what clans they belong to.
"10th group, Yamanaka Ino," Iruka Sensei called.
"Nara Shikamaru," "Looks like you have to team up with me," Shikamaru said smugly.
"And ... Akimichi Chouji," Iruka Sensei finished his little list of groups. Ino grabbed her head.
"That's it for the groups," "Iruka Sensei," Naruto shouted, getting up and pointing at Sasuke.
"Why is a top student like me in a group with this guy ?! "
" Sasuke graduated with the highest scores, "Iruka Sensei told Naruto.
" And you, Naruto had the worst scores, "
Other kids laughed.
" This happens because we want to evenly divide abilities between the groups, "
" Don't pull my leg, blockhead, "Sasuke said.
" What did you say ?! "Naruto shouted back.
" You want to fight, blockhead? "Sasuke challenged.
" Blockhead ... "Naruto repeated angrily as others started laughing.
" Stop it, Naruto, "Sakura cut in.
" I'm sorry, "Naruto said to Sakura. Myra looked between her team mates. This is going to be a swell time. Who is going to be their poor Jonin?
"Now," Iruka took their attention.
"I'm going to introduce the Jonin teachers in the afternoon. Meeting adjourned until then, "
Myra watched as everyone stood up and began to leave for the recess. She got up as well, feeling quite hungry and wanting to have a good lunch. Her teammates Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke had vanished off somewhere somehow and she knew none of it was going to be pleasant. Who was going to be their Sensei? Would they be able to handle the four of them? Both Myra and Naruto were Jinchuriki, Myra was the Rabbit Goddess's descendant and always in danger, and then there was Sasuke, one of the very last of the Uchiha Clan. Sakura was a handful, too .. Wow. Life is going to suck for their Sensei. As Myra walked down the hallway, chewing on her Daifuku that she had brought for herself, she heard loud noises coming from one of the empty classrooms down the hall and stopped. The curiosity pulled at her and she moved slowly over to creek the door open.
"Usa!" Myra whispered as she peeked inside and saw one of her teammates in the room, bounded and gagged. And it wasn't Naruto, surprisingly. It was Uchiha Sasuke. She pushed the door open and Sasuke looked at her, wiggling.
"HRM!" Sasuke tried to say something but his mouth was securely taped shut. Myra walked over to him and crouched down next to him, still eating her Daifuku while she observed him.
"HRM! HMM!" Sasuke kept wiggling around.
"Do you like sweets?" Myra questioned. Sasuke shook his head no and Myra gave him a nasty look. She moved away from him and he started to wiggle furiously to get her attention.
"You don't like sweets? Are you crazy, Usa?" Myra reached down and pulled the tape off of his mouth, making Sasuke wince slightly. She ignored it as she used a Kunai to cut off the rope that was binding him. Sasuke stood up and rubbed his wrists. She studied him.
"Who did this to you?" Myra asked him, genuinely curious. Who could've done this to one of the Academy's prodigies? A Chunin or a Jonin? Was their Sensei checking them out by ambushing?
"Naruto," Sasuke mumbled. Myra furrowed her eyebrows, having not heard what he had said and gave him a questioning look. Sasuke avoided her eyes.
"Who?" Myra asked yet again. Sasuke looked like he would rather be with someone else but Myra didn't care. She wanted to know who was going to be their Sensei if she is ambushed next.
"Naruto," Sasuke said, a little louder and a little embarrassed, which was showcased on his cheeks which heated up when Myra let out a shocked laugh.
"It's not really funny, I let him win,"
"You let Naruto win?" Myra asked, immensely amused.
"Sounds reasonable," The embarrassed blush deepened as Sasuke briskly hurried off.
"You forgot your lunchbox, Usa!" But the older male had vanished off.
"He's late," Naruto whined. Myra sighed for the umpteenth time as she lay sprayed over the desk as she, Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke waited for their new Sensei to come in to get them. Everyone else had already met and left with their teachers. Even Iruka left.
"Naruto, why don't you sit still?" Sakura called to Naruto, who was continuously looking around outside the classroom. Myra looked sideways to Sasuke and wondered if she should kick him for a thrill. She straightened up. Why is she thinking like Naruto all of a sudden?
"But why is the teacher for our seventh group the only one late?" Naruto said, still looking around out the door. "All the other groups went somewhere with their new teachers already and Iruka Sensei already went home!"
"That's not very important," Sakura said. Myra looked over at the two when she heard Naruto dragging something.
"Hey, what are you doing, Naruto?" Myra smirked when she noticed that he was setting up a prank but sticking the duster between the door and the wall.
"It's his fault for being late," Naruto told Sakura, who rolled her eyes and told him,
"Geez, it's your own fault, if you get in trouble, "Myra looked over.
" It will be quite amusing to see, "Myra commented. She knew that their Sensei wouldn't fall for it, he or she has to be capable enough to handle an Uzumaki, an Uchiha, an Otsutsuki and a Haruno.
"A Jonin isn't going to fall for a plain old booby trap like that," Sasuke said in his typical monotone voice. Myra glanced at him and replied,
"Well, we'll see," Sakura glared spiritedly The four of them looked over when they noticed someone appear in the doorway and as soon as the person pulled open the sliding door, the duster fell onto his head.It was quiet for a few seconds before Naruto burst out laughing and Myra face-palmed slightly as she shook her head.
"He fell for it! He fell for it! "Naruto shouted, laughing. Sakura, on the other hand, began to apologize immediately. Myra wondered how it could be possible for this to really happen.
" I'm sorry, Sensei, I tried to stop him, but Naruto-Kun didn't listen to me, "Sakura went on while Myra sent a smug look at Sasuke, making him look away, annoyed. Their new teacher picked up the duster before looking away thoughtfully.
" How should I say this. ..? "the Sensei started.
" My first impressions of you guys are ... I hate you, "Sakura, Naruto, Myra and Sasuke's heads dropped.
*time skip**
" Let's see, why don't you introduce yourselves? "their new teacher said now that they were located up the roof of the academy. Sakura, Sasuke, Naruto and Myra sat in front of him. Myra eyed the man's get-up. She didn't like to trust people who hid their face.
"Introduce ourselves?" Sakura repeated. What should we say? " She and the other three looked over at their new Sensei (who had not introduced himself yet either).
"What you like, hate, your dreams, and hobbies," their Sensei said, somewhat dismissively which made Myra raise her eyebrows.
"Something like that,"
"Hey, hey, why don't you introduce yourself first, Sensei?" Naruto asked their Sensei, voicing the question that was in everyone's mind.
"Me? I'm Hatake Kakashi," Kakashi Sensei said.
"I have no intention of telling you my likes and dislikes. As for my dream ... I have a few hobbies,"
"So, all we found out was his name," Sakura said to her teammates. Naruto nodded in agreement and Myra frowned slightly as she stared at Kakashi.
"Now, it's your turn," Kakashi said to them. He browsed through them before pointing at Naruto and saying,
"You first,"
"I'm Uzumaki Naruto," Naruto introduced.
"I like cup Ramen, but I like the Ramen at Ichiraku that Iruka Sensei bought for me more. I hate the three minutes that I have to wait after I put the hot water. My hobby is to eat and compare cup Ramens! And my dream is to become greater than the Hokages! I'm going to make all the villagers recognize my existence, "
" Okay, next, "Kakashi said. There was no change in his expression and Myra wondered what in the world he must've thought about Naruto's introduction (for she personally felt embarrassed).
"You,"
"My name is Otsutsuki Myra," Myra introduced herself.
"I like sweets, origami and strings, and I dislike angry and hateful people. My hobbies are to read books and train, and my dream is to be a great Kunoichi, like Nikki-Sama, Tsunade-Sama and Maria- Sama,"
"And next ...?" Kakashi asked, looking at Sakura. Myra wanted to fade away when she thought about what Sakura must be thinking right now. Please, don't ...
"I'm Haruno Sakura!" Sakura introduced.
"I like ... Well, the person I like is .." She looked at Sasuke, blushing deeply.
"And my hobby is ... Well, my dream is to ..." She looked at Sasuke again and squealed, making Myra shrink in size.
"And ...? What do you hate? "Kakashi asked.
" Naruto, "Sakura replied bluntly, making the blond cry out.
Myra held back a chuckle at Naruto's antics. Kakashi turned to Sasuke.
"Last guy," Kakashi called.
"My name is Uchiha Sasuke," Sasuke said.
"There are many things that I hate, and there aren't a lot of things that I like," Myra eyed him.
"Also, I have an ambition that I have no intention to leave as just a dream; the revival of my clan and to ... Kill a certain man,"
"He doesn't mean you," Myra muttered to Naruto when she saw his face. But the blond kept freaking out internally to himself.
"Alright, you four all have unique personalities, I like that," Kakashi declared.
"We're going to begin a mission starting tomorrow,"
"What kind of mission is that ?!" Naruto asked.
"First, we're going to do something that we five can do," Kakashi said.
"What, what, what, what is it?" Naruto asked.
"Survival training," Kakashi told them.
"Survival training ...?" Naruto repeated, trailing off.
"Why are we going to train when it's a mission?" Sakura asked.
"We had plenty of training at the academy,"
"This is no ordinary training," Kakashi said.
"Then, then what kind of training is it?" Naruto asked.
Kakashi started chuckling to himself. Myra gave him a disturbed look.
"Hey, what's so funny, Sensei?" Sakura asked. Kakashi chuckled still, and the four of them continued to watch him closely, unsure of this behavior.
"Well, if I say this, I'm sure you four are going to be surprised," Kakashi said.
"Out of the 28 graduates, only ten are going to become Genins. The others will be sent back to the academy. In other words, this training is going to be a very hard test with a dropout rate of 66%. See? You are surprised! "
"No way, I went through so much trouble ...!" Naruto grumbled.
"Then what was the graduation exam for?" Myra nodded in agreement. She had hoped to polish her skills on missions. Ah, well ..
"That? It just picks out those who are qualified to become a Genin," Kakashi told them.
"What ?!" Naruto shouted.
"Anyway, I'm going to determine whether you pass or fail tomorrow at the training grounds," Kakashi informed them.
"Bring your ninja equipment and meet at 5 AM! Now then, meeting over .. Oh yeah, don't eat breakfast, you're going to throw up if you do," Kakashi left the four of them to themselves as he jumped off and away from there.
Myra frowned to herself as she twirled one of her twin tails, wondering what Kakashi Sensei was going to make them do so early in the morning, and without food. Myra was also sure that Usajii would shut himself off during this so that she wouldn't bother him in case she wanted some sort of advice from him or him to help her through the survival training. She rolled her eyes. Usajii was really grumpy sometimes ...
"I heard that," Usajii's grumbled from deep within her mind.
"You better do good tomorrow, Usahime. I don't want you to embarrass me,"
"I won't," Myra muttered as she got up from the floor and began to follow her teammates off of the roof.
She watched them jump away, off to wherever they wanted to go. Sasuke to his home, Naruto to Ichiraku Ramen and Sakura to the market place.
Myra jumped toward the direction of the Hokage Monument, her jump being better and longer than any person she had met so far in Konohagakure. Maybe she could go and enjoy the remaining Daifuku while looking over the village ...
