The boys were sprinting for 30 minutes straight. they stop to catch their breath. "so do you think they are following us? because I didn't hear nor see anyone following us." Helal was panting "to be honest with you I don't think that there is anyone chasing us, maybe Ahmed made a false alarm by mistake." Zain sat on the ground catching his breath. they both decided to take a rest. "so how long until we get out of this forest?" Asked Zain. "about an hour to an hour and a half." Helal replied "but we have to be careful not to make any sound." Zain laid his back on a tree. "why? are there wild animals in this forest?" Helal rolled his eyes "you could say that, But they're not your average wild animals." Zain got intrigued and thought that there may be a new species of animals. "they're Demons!!" Helal said. Zain was confused "I thought that demons were like Humans not animals. what drug are you high on?" "oxygen" Zain sighed and stood up "ok I walked into that one. let's progress forward."
"to where are we progressing towards?" a man was standing between them by their side. "WATCH OUT!!" Helal unsheathed his sword and swung it at the man. The man jumped back 10 meters. Helal looked at Zain. Zain was Frightened and paralyzed in place because of the shock. He grabbed Zain and screamed at him "Snap out of it!!!" Zain snapped out of it and looked at the man who was hopping around warming up his muscles. 2 other men show up behind the strange man. "C'mon James don't frighten them. one of them would've died because of you" James smirked "Sorry Mike I couldn't handle it, their little talk was so peaceful. I just wanted to hear it up close." Leon smacked both Mike and James. "don't talk like that" he then turns to Zain and Helal which Zain was looking back at them and Helal was looking around trying to find a way out of this situation. "you there the two Humans. I just want to talk. nothing more nothing less" Helal was surprised that an Amun was wanting to chat insted of killing them right away. "Helal I don't think we should talk to them. we should run" Helal sheaths his sword and walks slowly towards Leon. "I never would've thought that an Amun would want in this day and time to negotiate." Leon smiled "don't worry it's hard for me too" Helal grasps his sword ready in case of an attack. "I said don't worry I just want to talk" Helal clenched his fist "Speak." Zain was observing from a far and was thinking about a way out of this mess. "(they are obviously not our ally. They are Amuns and I have to be on guard incase of a surprise attack. Damn it, I'm useless Helal is the one risking his life. what should I do. what should I do)" Leon glanced at Zain and chills went down Zain's spine. "(I'm looking at my potential murderer in the eyes)"said Zain. Leon chuckled "your friend seems to be afraid of us." Helal looked back at Zain and was slightly moving his head and eyes trying to send a message to him. "(is he trying to tell me something) Zain thought to himself. Helal then put his left hand behind his back "(no way! he's telling me to run?)" Leon moved slightly forward. "I just wanted to ask some questions." Helal opened his palm and stretched all his fingers. "what is it that you want from us?" said Helal. Leon put his hand in his bag on his waist and pulled out glass bottle with blue energy in it. "I wanted to ask you on this elemental energy. we found it at a nearby cabin, where we also found a strange unknown energy spike. it turned out that the unknown energy was energy from Human. both of the energy were from Humans" Helal folded one finger and unsheathed his sword. "sorry but my energy is Yellow. it's not what you you're looking for mister..(that blue energy is Zain's energy that he still can't use. it was that one time against Lisa that he let out a huge burst at once that destroyed the ground.)" Helal folded another finger. "(he's trying to tell me something, if he's telling me to run I will. but if he's telling me to help and I run away it would be his end)" Helal stood straight and looked at the other two behind Leon and asked "why are you trying to kill us? what do you want from us?" Helal folded another finger, two fingers left "it's not our own decision to hunt you down. it was the Queen who ordered us to hunt you." Helal folded another finger, one finger remaining. "she saw this blue energy and wanted to met it's user in person. do you know where it's user is?" Helal smiled "yeah I know where he is." " He's over there." Helal looked behind James and Mike. all three of them turned around. and didn't see anyone. Leon realized. "it's a trap!!" turning to hit Helal. his sword glows yellow and he slams it on the ground, creating an paralyzing area of effect. and stopped the men in their tracks. "Damn you!!" Helal turns to Zain and runs towards "LET'S GET OUT OF HERE QUICKLY!!"
the two boys started running for their lives "what were you doing with you hand? what did you want to tell me?" Zain asked Helal. "I was giving you a timer so that you'd wait and not run away. if you would've ran away he would've killed me and eventually you. so he was testing me to see if I would've abandoned you. he knew it was you with that blue energy. if I did abandon you he would've killed you and let me live. if I lied he would've killed me and you." he replied " but they wont be paralyzed for a long time. so we have to hurry and lose them" Zain stayed quiet and continued running with him. back where the Amuns were paralyzed. "look what you've done Leon. now they're running away from us." shouted James "sorry I must've lost my touch in the past hundred years" replied Leon. "don't worry even if they get out of the forest there will be a field of short grass. we could easily catch them there" said Mike.
"how are we going to keep up this speed for an hour" Zain said in agony. Helal started to slow down a little and stopped. Zain also stopped. "what are you doing they are going to catch us like this." Zain said. "No, they want us to get out of this forest. because it would be easier for them to catch us if we do get out." Zain started to get afraid. "wait don't tell me. we are going to fight them in this forest?" Helal nods "it's the only way for us to get out of here alive." Zain falls to the ground. "but I can't fight, I can't do anything to help. it will be three against one. and you will die. with me behind you at the chopping board!!" Helal looks at Zain "I'm helping you because I feel like there's a connection between us an invisible rope of fate connected our paths together into one. you may not be able to feel it now but, when we get out of this place victors I'm sure you'll realize it as well." Helal then turns and faces the direction of the Amuns. while Zain was on the ground. on the verge of bursting into tears he has a vision. A vision of his family. "(Mom, Nour, Mohamed, Habeba, Aunt, MY Family.....DAD!!) god damn it why do you guys have to show up now." a tear fell down Zain's face. he wipes it whilst standing up. "ok Helal I'll try to hold it together, but if I freeze in place I'll never forgive you if you don't protect me." Helal smiled and they both faced the direction of the Amuns. "so do you have a plan. Helal?" Helal puts his hand on his chin "I did have one but, if we are going to fight we have to change to Plan B." Zain looked at Helal. "and that is?" "Kill The Assassins!" Zain faced forward "I hate that plan. But hey you're the boss."
