In the heart of the Demon-Encountering Stele, there are mountains and seas.
Ning Fan walked along the mountain path, the soil damp and the air fresh, as if a light drizzle had just passed through these hills.
The mountain flowers were blooming splendidly, wild bees stopping and flying amidst the blossoms; a few butterflies land casually on Ning Fan's shoulder, unafraid, as if they deemed Ning Fan as one of their own.
"I am searching for the master of this land. Do you know where she is?" Ning Fan asked the butterflies.
The butterflies didn't respond.
But they did fly off from Ning Fan's shoulder, heading down the other end of the mountain path.
As if leading the way.
