Cielo gestured toward the kitchen, calling out to their head chef to prepare a fresh meal for the three of them, while encouraging the store manager to take a well-deserved lunch break as well.
"So, you're heading straight to Travis's office after this?" Cielo asked, carefully selecting a tender piece of braised meat with her chopsticks and placing it onto Jillyanna's plate.
Jillyanna took a small bite, savoring the flavor before answering. "We actually drove into the city together, but he had some urgent matters to handle at the corporate headquarters first. Since I wanted to check in on you, the staff, and the daily numbers anyway, I had him drop me off here nearby."
Cielo looked at her thoughtfully, a warm, genuine smile gracing her lips. "I'm truly glad to see the two of you getting along so well these days," she commented softly. Then, under her breath, she added in a near-silent murmur, "Too bad for El, though."
